Welcome to Siam Sunrise

Siam Royal View

Thank-you for choosing Siam Sunrise in Siam Royal View beachfront estate. We

with some tips and handy information you might need during your holiday. We
wish you the very best and hope Beverly House lives up to expectation.

Arriving at the house:

We stay at the house every 2nd month and do regularly stock up on toiletry
items (soap, toilet paper) and pantry necessaries, but sometimes these do get
used or go missing. I recommend on the way to Siam Royal View you stop at a
shop and buy a few small items just in case. There is a 7 11 and many small
shops on the main road just past the Siam Royal View turn-off.

Air-Conditioning and Electricity

There is an ongoing discussion between Siam Royal View and rental properties
regarding charging customers for electricity. My view is it should be included in
the price but SRV disagree. Please feel free to run AC during the night but
during the day I would prefer you only leave the AC on in the ground floor
bedroom when you are home. If the front door is closed it will keep the dining
and living room cool. Please turn them all off when leaving the house for any
amount of time or if the front doors are open. An electrical consumption figure
of 60units/day (THB360) is allowable. Excessive amounts above this might be
passed on to the customer.
Front Deck and Awning.

The Awning is operated manually using this handle. To open the awning, turn
the handle anti-clockwise. (Face from top) and clockwise to close.

When opening do not fully extend as to make the arm elbow joints touch.
You can tell because the awning cover will sag and not be tight

This is incorrect.  This is correct .

There is a small gap and the cover is tight. When closing the awning, only close
as far as the weather cover on top. Please do not close as far as possible.
The awning is only designed for shade and should only be left open in light rain.
Please close or partially close during heavier rain or when you leave the house
for any period. It will fill up with water if left open during heavy rain and
possibly collapse.

Rubbish

There is an enclosure at the rear of the house that all rubbish is to be placed in
every evening. This is collected every day, usually in the morning. The other
black bin can be placed around the house at your choice. No food scraps are to
be left in the black bin at night or the local dogs will open it and make a very
ugly mess. 
Barbeque.

The Barbeque is a Stainless Steel Gas, 3 burner. It’s quite clean and in good
working order. It has automatic lighting which is battery operated. We try to
keep the gas bottle full but please do check when you first arrive so you are
not disappointed when ready to cook to find it empty. BBQThai recommend
the gas bottle is placed outside when cooking. Please clean after using.

There is a Gas Bottle Exchange Shop at White Sand Beach on the right hand
side of the road just up past Paddy’s Irish Pub. They charge 200Bht for a refill.

Stray Dogs

Siam Royal View (As well as most of Thailand) has an increasing amount of
stray dogs. Most of them are harmless but some can be slightly aggressive.
We can reduce the problem by:

1. Don´t feed stray dogs. Never! When you are away the dogs stay and
roam the village for food.

2. Keep all house hold garbage in storage bins at the back of house.

3. Never use the open green/blue street bins for house hold garbage

4. Chase the stray dogs away vigorously.

5. If confronted by an aggressive dog, yell loudly at the dog and stamp your
feet.

6. If you think a dog is unwell or injured, please contact the local Support
