INTRODUCTION

Today’s society requires beauty. People have been


conscious of their self-appearance more than ever these
days. Not only what their face looks like in front of everyone,
but the clothes that they sport or wear. Sense of fashion, as
they call it. Having a good taste for what clothes you wear is
now considered a skill.

That’s where Flashy-On comes to play. A business


born to fulfill its audience’s fashion needs with its ever-
innovating trends. Flashy-On isn’t just a clothing line, it is a
lifestyle. A lifestyle for the fashionistas who seek to go out of
their comfort zone and explore the deepest corners of trends
of fashion today.

Description of the Business

Having no particular gender or age bracket to target,


the possibilities of Flashy-On are endless. Starting with only
a few products in the company’s future launch, the business
focuses to expand furthermore as they cater the needs of
their crowd.

Started by the minds of business elitists, Flashy-On


aims to become a monopoly in the industry of clothing lines
in the Philippines…. And soon, the world. With the amount of
competition rising today, Flashy-On only sees these threats
as an opportunity to grow even further into the business. In
the span of only 3-5 years, the company sees itself as
already the best in the business.

Fashion is now limitless, thanks to the minds of


Flashy-On.

Location of the Business

The minds of Flashy-On have projected the location


of their business to be established first in SM North Edsa.
With the popularity of the place and the good reputation of
the SM franchise nationally, the business promises to boom
and make good sales in its launch.
In the future, as the business expands, the company
will reach different regions of the Philippines, and soon
enough, overseas. Branches will be built everywhere for
people to enjoy Flashy-On’s products without having to
travel far.

Funding Requirement and Source of Funds

Flashy-On has a lot to consider when it comes to


starting a business, especially in the financial aspect of it.
Rent for location, bills, manpower salary, funding for the
products to be made, and such.

Business elitists Alfred Espinosa, Erica Estrada,


Shane Quinanola, Billie Firmalino, Barbara Hipolito, Shaira
Riga, and Blake Basilio all have established businesses
individually beforehand. The source of funds to create a
head start for Flashy-On will come from shares from the
businesses they already own and manage.

Since the business already has big goals in its mind


despite the fact that it’s just on the verge of its launch, these
funds will not be enough. Therefore, bank loans will be made
to fund more starting money for the company.

the demands starts to increase as Christmas and
New Year approaches. The demands starts to
increase rapidly around November so our business
has been prepared and started looking for more
supplies immediately after we started operating our
business. We started gathering supplies before
November for us to cater to the increasaing demands
for fashion trends during Christmas and New Years.

The value of our market share is an estimation since


we based it on our Market Forecast. Considering that we are
relatively new, and the fashion industry is huge, we put the
10% in our market share as the highest estimation we can
see. Our market share may be lower than our estimation as
this is only our forecast and can be changed based on the
new information that we will get as we are operating our
business.

Market Strategy

Our sales and marketing team will be recruited based


on their experiences in the fashion industry prior to applying
for our business. They will be given basic training to ensure
the quality of our customer service. We will also be finding
ambassadors that will promote our brand, we will be
recruiting famous personalities in social media platforms to
make sure that our brand will reach many people and
possible consumers.

This section describes the form of the business


organization, the liability of the owner, the organizational
structure, the role of the owner, and the proposed salary.

Form of Business Organization

The form of our business organization is manufacturing


clothes. We will be having our manufacturers. We are
seven owners, and we seven owners invested our savings
and our life in this corporation. This business organization
would be a corporation since we are seven owners of this
manufacturing company. We signed a legal contract
stating that we should be fair and honest with this
corporation, and our investments will be returned with
interests.

Liability of the Owner

Our owners' liability for sure is 100% since we are all


friends from high school, so we guarantee our company will
have a good relationship being in a corporation. In our legal
contract, we agreed that by all means, in case the company
will be in debt, we owners will be liable and won't leave our
co-owners hanging in case a considerable problem will
come. Also, we all agreed that we would be transparent with
each other to avoid conflicts. If the company faces financial
difficulties, the owners will handle the problem professionally
and solve it without leaving each other.

Organizational Structure
For our organizational structure, since we are 7 the 6 of us will be
holding a job title and the 1 left will just be labeled as co-owner. “Co-
Owners.”

For our Senior Manager, we’ve chosen Mr. Alfred R. Espinosa Jr.

For our Human Resources Manager, we’ve appointed Ms. Barbara


Dawn L. Hipolito.

For our Finance & Accounting Manager, Ms. Shane Jazleen C.


Quiñanola will be taking this position.

For our Sales & Marketing Manager, Ms. Aaliyah Billie J. Firmalino is
the best candidate.

For our Research & Development Manager, Ms. Erica Lorraine Q.


Estrada will be appointed.
For our Operations Manager, Mr. Janson Blake R. Basilio is capable
and reliable for this spot.

Role of the Owner

As the owners, we seven owners are responsible for


everything that needed to be managed in our company.
Starting with how this company was established, what are
the things we needed to install this manufacturing business,
what are the things we need to work on for this company to
be successful and run thoroughly. We are responsible for
thinking about the strategies needed to apply for the
company to break into the scene of the clothing industry. We
owners might not always be complete every day physically
for operations because of personal errands. Still, we always
give our soul to the company and always be one call away if
something so important to discuss. And as most of us had a
degree that involves business management, we surely know
what we are doing but still open for improvements.

Flashy. Co. Owners are responsible for training the


staff, being hands-on in every task assigned in every team.

● Senior Manager - The role of the Senior Manager will


be the Manager of all the Managers. We've decided
that we won't have a CEO, but we will have a Senior
Manager as the top officer to the Manager, gather,
and inform everyone about the company. He/She is
assigned to report and tell everyone the company's
weaknesses, threats, strengths, and opportunities.
● Human Resources Manager - Human resources
managers plan, direct, and coordinate the
administrative functions of an organization. They
oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new
staff, consult with top executives on strategic planning
and a link between an organization's management
and its employees. Also, the HR Manager supports
the business to deliver people-related processes,
vision, and strategy across the company, aligned with
the law.
● Finance & Accounting Manager - The accounting and
finance manager will be responsible for daily
bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables,
payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant
reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties
as assigned. The associate will work closely with and
report to the accounting and finance director. In
addition, he/she will be establishing financial status by
developing and implementing systems for collecting,
analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial
information. Having a finance and accounting
manager was much easier for the company to identify
if their sales decreased or increased.
● Sales & Marketing Manager - A sales and marketing
manager is responsible for researching and
developing marketing opportunities and planning and
implementing new sales plans. The sales and
marketing manager will also manage both the
marketing and the sales staff and perform managerial
duties to meet the company's operations goals. Sales
& Marketing Manager Demonstrates products and
services as deemed necessary by clients and
management. Schedules appointments and meetings
as required. Answers questions from clients. They
make product knowledge readily available to self and
other salespeople through various resources.
● Research & Development Manager - A researchand
development (R&D) manager performs some
significant roles within an organization. They are
responsible for research, planning, and implementing
new programs and protocols into their company or
organization and overseeing new products. They are
also accountable for developing research programs
incorporating current developments to improve
existing products and study the new product's
potential.
● Operations Manager- The Operations Manager's role
is mainly to implement the right processes and
practices across the organization. The specific duties
of an Operations Manager include formulating
strategy, improving performance, procuring material
and resources, and securing compliance. They are
responsible for managing activities that are part of the
production of goods and services. Their direct
responsibilities include managing both the operations
process, embracing design, planning, control,
performance improvement, and operations strategy.
