Flipped Classroom Lesson Example

This lesson plan is about teaching students about the seasons in the Philippines. The objectives are for students to understand how seasons change in the Philippines. For homework, students will watch an educational video and read an article on why seasons change. They will then answer questions about the timing of the seasons in each hemisphere. In class, students will work in groups to create a model using local materials to simulate the seasons. They will use an earth model, light source, and axis to demonstrate the cause of seasonal changes. Students will be assessed through pre-class questions, an in-class quiz, and post-class discussion questions.
