    A copy of Railway Board's letter no. E(G) 2022/EL 1-4, dated 24.11.2022 along
    with instruction issued by Election Commission regarding, (i) Application of Model
    Code of Conduct & (ii) Grant of paid holidays to employees concern on day of poll , is
    enclosed herewith for information guidance and necessary action please.
    It is informed that the Assembly Election in Gujarat State is scheduled to be held
    in two phases as under-

    Bharuch, Surat, Tapi, Dang, Navsari, Valsad.
    2 2 Phase
    nd 05.12.2022 Banaskantha, Patan, Mehsana, Sabarkantha,
    Aravalli, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Anand,
    Kheda, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod,
    Vadodara, Chhota Udepur.

    Instruction issued by Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions,


    Department of Personnel & Training’s O.M. No. 12/1/2022-JCA dated 18.11.2022 for
    closure of Central Government Offices in the notified areas, where general election to
    the State Legislative Assembly Constituencies are to be conducted on the date of poll
    and grant of paid holiday to the employees concern on the date of poll to enable them
    to exercise their right to vote.

    circular.
