A tale is a story, especially one with creative embellishments. You can read a story from a book
or tell the kids a bedtime story. Tales can be true or made up, but they all have a narrative with a
beginning and an end that is made more interesting and exciting by vivid details.

✔3. Core Concept:

Students will read and understand the story. Students will discuss the important vocabulary used
in the story.

1. The students will understand the reading article. (K)


2. The students will discuss the meaning of vocabulary words used in the article. (P)

✔7. Teaching Procedures: (50 minutes)


Introduction 5 minutes
1) The teacher will instruct the students on what they are going to do.
2) Students will share their ideas about the before reading questions.
3) Students will guess the picture and share their ideas about it.

Presentation 35 minutes
1. The students will listen to the audio for them to familiarize the pronunciation of the words.
2. The students will read the story and discuss the following questions given.
3. Students will discuss the definition of vocabulary words used in the story.
4. Students will answer exercises 1, 2 & 3 in their book for comprehension check.
5. The teacher will guide and check students’ work.

Conclusion 10 minutes
1. The teacher will recap the lesson and tell them to answer the Understanding ideas and to write
their answers in the following questions.
