Priest: Pray, brethren (brothers and sisters), that my sacrifice and yours
may be acceptable to God, the almighty Father.

All: May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your hands,

for the praise and glory of his name,
for our good and the good of all his holy Church.

Prayer over the Offerings

Priest: Be pleased, almighty God, to accept your Church's offering,

so that she, who is aware that her beginnings lie in the Incarnation of your
Only Begotten Son, may rejoice to celebrate his mysteries on this
Solemnity. Who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

All: Amen.

Preface
Priest: The Lord be with you.
All: And with your spirit.
Priest: Lift up your hearts.
All: We lift them up to the Lord.
Priest: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
All: It is right and just.

Priest: It is truly right and just, our duty and our salvation,
always and everywhere to give you thanks, Lord, holy Father,
almighty and eternal God, through Christ our Lord. For the
Virgin Mary heard with faith that the Christ was to be born
among men and for men’s sake
by the overshadowing power of the Holy Spirit. Lovingly she
bore him in her immaculate womb, that the promises to the
children of Israel might come about and the hope of nations be
accomplished beyond all telling.
Through him the host of Angels adores your majesty and
rejoices in your presence for ever. May our voices, we pray,
join with theirs in one chorus of exultant praise, as we acclaim:
------

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts . . . (sung or said)

Holy, Holy, Holy Lord God of hosts.

Heaven and earth are full of your glory.
Hosanna in the highest.
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.

Our Father, Who art in heaven,

Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Priest: Deliver us, Lord… our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Or All: (sung or recited) For the kingdom, and the power, and the glory are
Yours now and forever.

Peace I leave you…
Who live and reign for ever and ever.

Lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world.
Grant us peace.

C: Please kneel.

Priest: Behold the Lamb of God… to the Supper of the Lamb

All: Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof;
But only say The Word and my soul shall be healed.

Priest: This is the Body of Christ

All: AMEN.

**Act of Spiritual Communion

For those who cannot receive communion, let us together pray the Act of Spiritual
Communion

My Jesus, I believe that You are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all
things, and I long for You in my soul. Since I cannot now receive You Sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart. As though You have already come, I embrace
You and unite myself entirely to You; never permit me to be separated from You.
Amen

**Communion songs

C: (after all received communion) Please kneel. Prayer for Peace by Pope Francis -
Altogether

Lord God of peace, hear our prayer!

7|Page
We have tried so many times and over so many years to resolve our conflicts by our
own powers and by the force of our arms. How many moments of hostility and
darkness have we experienced; how much blood has been shed; how many lives
have been shattered; how many hopes have been buried… But our efforts have been
in vain.
Now, Lord, come to our aid! Grant us peace, teach us peace; guide our steps in the
way of peace. Open our eyes and our hearts, and give us the courage to say: "Never
again war!"; "With war everything is lost". Instill in our hearts the courage to take
concrete steps to achieve peace.
Lord, God of Abraham, God of the Prophets, God of Love, you created us and you
call us to live as brothers and sisters. Give us the strength daily to be instruments of
peace; enable us to see everyone who crosses our path as our brother or sister. Make
us sensitive to the plea of our citizens who entreat us to turn our weapons of war
into implements of peace, our trepidation into confident trust, and our quarreling
into forgiveness.
Keep alive within us the flame of hope, so that with patience and perseverance we
may opt for dialogue and reconciliation. In this way may peace triumph at last, and
may the words "division", "hatred" and "war" be banished from the heart of every
man and woman. Lord, defuse the violence of our tongues and our hands. Renew
our hearts and minds, so that the word which always brings us together will be
"brother", and our way of life will always be that of: Shalom, Peace, Salaam! Amen.

C: (after ablution/ priest washed his hands) Please all stand.

PRAYER AFTER COMMUNION

Priest: Confirm in our minds the mysteries of the true faith,

we pray, O Lord,
so that, confessing that he who was conceived of the Virgin Mary
is true God and true man,
we may, through the saving power of his Resurrection,
merit to attain eternal joy.
Through Christ our Lord.

All: Amen!

SOLEMN BLESSING

Priest: The Lord be with you

All: And with your spirit.

Priest: Bow your heads and pray for God’s Blessing.
