Date/Time of Formal Observation: The 10th/12/2022 from 08 o’clock to 12.

This form should be completed by the teacher. The form has been designed to support the teacher and his/her
observers in engaging in meaningful pre-observation reflection. In this sense, it may be used as a guide/preparation for
the formal classroom observation session. The completion of the form is one of the requirements of the observer’s
micro-teaching portfolio.

1. List the stated objective(s)/purpose of this lesson (what do you want the student to learn and why).
 To name healthy food and to write healthy menu
 To practice how solving problems and to criticize thinking
2. To which part of your curriculum does this lesson relate?
 Decision – making skills
3. How will you connect this lesson with the student’s prior knowledge and lessons that may follow?
 By providing an exercise (home fun ) given at the end of each lesson and correcting it at the beginning
of the next lesson

4. How and when will you know whether the students have achieved the learning target(s)? What closure
activity are you planning that will allow students to demonstrate they are meeting the objective(s)?
 At the end of the lesson they have an assessment and at the end of each unit they have a progress
check.
5. How will you connect this lesson with the student’s prior knowledge and lessons that may follow?
 See the 3rd question
6. Are there any common difficulties and/or misconceptions that you anticipate in teaching the
lesson? If so, how will you address them?
 Of course , it gets confusing especially the pronunciation where it is in French . so the first stage is
listening 2nd is speaking , 3rdreading .
7. Briefly describe the students in this class, including those with special needs.?
 They are active and enthusiastic .
8. How will you differentiate instruction for those students? How will you engage the students in the
learning? What will you do? What will the students do? Will the students work in groups, or individually,
or as a large group? What resources are you going to use in this lesson? Provide any materials that the
students will be using.
 For the oral learning only more materials giving opportunities of listening and speaking while some
phonetic exercises. But related to writing ,learners can work in groups then individually .
9. As you planned this lesson, why did you select these instructional strategies and/or methods of
delivery?
 To attract the attention of my students and ensure that the objectives of the class is achieved
