During the discussion, the learners should be able to:

b. value the safety and precautionary measures in different
types of weather and;

B. Developmental Activities (Presentation)


- Okay class, before we proceed to our new
topic, I want you to look outside and observe
what is the weather for today. Is it sunny or Sunny day teacher
rainy day?

- Very good! How do you feel when Mr. Sunny


day will come? Do you feel hot or cold? Hot teacher
- Yes! It feels hot to the point that our sweat will
come out.
- So now, we have to discuss what is weather
and the different kinds of weather.
What is weather?

It is the day-to-day variation of the atmosphere’s


condition locally. The weather changes regularly and
tends to be different during different seasons and
across different countries.

Types of weather

Stormy

Cloudy day is a weather that it's so full of clouds that


you can't see the sun.

Windy day is a weather that sustained wind speed


from 15-25 mph. Windy is a sustained wind speed
from 20-30 mph.

Stormy day is a weather conditions like thunder,


lightning, dark clouds, wind, and pelting rain.

Sunny day is a weather that the sun is shining


brightly.

Rainy day is a weather that in which it rains a lot.

guess what kind of weather as I will tackle on

we’re going to wear during sunny day.

Very good! And this is what we have to wear during


rainy day to avoid from getting wet and to avoid fever.

This one class? What kind of weather is this? It is stormy day teacher.

Very good! So, what can you do during stormy


weather? Close the windows, external and internal
doors. If the wind becomes destructive, stay away
from doors and windows and shelter further inside the
house.

Alright! The wind is blowing very strong. Did you


know that during on windy day, so many children were
playing kites because of its strong wind just like on the
picture above.

And the last one class, what kind of weather is this? It’s a cloudy teacher!

Definitely! Did you know that it’s better to play, to go


to the beach, and any outdoor activities you wanted to
do during cloudy day it’s because the weather is not
sunny nor rainy.
