Collaborative ICT Development
It refers to web, social, and software tools used by an organization to facilitate
communication and collaboration with customers for increased sales and satisfaction via
Internet in real time.
Different types of Internet-based collaboration
1. Document sharing / file sharing – the practice of distributing or sharing of files via
Internet.
2. Work Grouping - is the practice of sharing data via local network
3. Collaborative browsing / co-browsing – is the joint navigation through WWW. It ) is a
software-enabled technique that allows someone in an enterprise contact center to interact
with a customer by using the customer's Web browser to show them something.
4. Web conferencing - is a form Real Time Communication (RTC) in which multiple
computer users, all connected to the internet see the same screen at all the times in their
web browsers.
5. Video conferencing - allows users in different location to hold face to face meetings
without having to move to a single location.
