29 will be communicated after order placement, if greater than specified in the table. Vendor has to check nozzles under actual loads too without extra cost.
30 N5 The minimum neck thickness for all nozzles including manholes (unless design conditions dictate a heavier wall) is to be Schedule 80 (or EN equivalent)
31 up to and including DN200 (8") size, and 12mm (1/2") wall for DN250 (10") and larger.
32 N6 The minimum nozzle projection for the nozzles located on shell shall be as per PEC-EN-SDR-M-3224. For SR nozzles, Vendor to specify the nozzle projection.
33 The nozze located on top dish center shall have minimum 700 mm projection. All top nozzles on top dish shall be in same level of the center nozzle. This is to
34 ensure all nozzle flanges have adequate projection above top platform.
35 N7 Flange rating are specified in accordance with ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, Series B. Flange rating indicated in above table are based upon design pressure
36 and temperature conditions only, and do not account for other loads. The final design of all flanges shall account for gasket seating and external loads.
37 Differential thermal expansion, including joints between materials, and transient thermal conditions such as start-up/shut down and operational upset
38 (as applicable) shall be accommodated.
39 N8 Pump mounting nozzle M1 shall be designed for pump load. FEA shall be performed for this nozzle.
40 N9 Pump with mounting Flange and Discharge Nozzle O01 along with Gasket and Fasteners by Pump Vendor.

3 GENERAL NOTES
4 G1 Unless noted otherwise, all vessels shall be designed to permit full hydrostatic testing fully corroded condition, in the final erected position with all dead loads
5 at operating condition (includes vessel, insulation, internals, platforms, ladders, external piping, etc., but excludes operating liquid, catalyst, packing, etc.)
6 and 25% of design winds
7 G2 When the vessel has internals or vessel surfaces of austenitic materials, the vessel Vendor shall provide a positive nitrogen pressure of 3 psig (20 kPA(g))
8 minimum on the vessels to provide protection against possible chloride attack by the sea water. Vendor is invited to submit alternate methods for
9 consideration. Vessels shall be assumed to be deck cargo. Manway blinds shall be marked "NITROGEN PURGED - DO NOT OPEN";
10 G3 Gasket used for hydro test shall be of the same material and size of the service gasket. Supplier to provide a separate set of gaskets for all covers during hydro test.
11 G4 Equipment drawings are subject to UOP / Lithuanian Authority & Orlen review and approval. Comments received shall be implemented by Vendor.
12 G5 Nozzles shall be located so that the nozzle and nozzle to vessel weld are at least 3 inches (75 mm) from all pressure containing shell and head welds.
13 If intersecting pressure containing welds cannot be avoided, the nozzle shall be fully reinforced and low stress welding details used (e.g., grind fillets to a
14 smooth concave radius). All pressure containing welds shall be 100 percent radiographed to a minimum of 6 inches (150mm) beyond the nozzle
15 to vessel weld.
16 G6 The inner edge of all manways and nozzles shall be rounded to 3mm (1/8") radius.
17 G7 Deleted 002
18 G8 All internals bolts shall be provided with double-nutting or by using self-locking nuts.
19
20 MECHANICAL NOTES
21 M1 Horizontal vessels shall be supported by two saddle supports fabricated to fit the outside surface of the vessel within the applicable tolerances. Saddles shall extend over
o
22 a vessel arc of at least 120 . Saddles shall not be placed over vessel girth welds. A corrosion or wear plate shall be provided between the saddle and the vessel shell. The
23 plate shall extend at least 2 inches (50 mm) in all directions beyond the saddle. The corners shall be rounded to a radius of at least 2 inches (50 mm). After removal of free
24 moisture from between the shell and the plate, the plate shall be continuously seal welded to the shell around the plate’s perimeter. At least one 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter vent
25 hole shall be provided in each plate section. Vent holes shall be tapped for future plugging. Vent holes shall remain open until the completion of pressure testing. The vent
26 shall then be plugged with a material adequate for the operating temperature but not be capable of retaining pressure.
27 M2 Fixed internals carbon steel and low alloyed steel (up to 9%Cr) made shall have the full corrosion allowance on each face (in total 2 times the designed CA of
28 shell). No corrosion allowance will be given for removable internals made ofstainless steel (13%Cr and above) as also for those made of non-ferrous high alloyed.
29 Removable internals in CS/LAS shall have minimum half the vessel shell CA applied on each side as per OL-TR-GR-000
30 M3 Provide a minimum of 1/16 inch (1.6mm) corrosion allowance on vessel supports.
31 M4 Provide Corrosion Allowance of 4.5 mm for LP Steam Coil and Internal Flanges. (HOLD 4)
32 M5 External reinforcing pads shall have a minimum of one 1/4 inch (6 mm) diameter vent hole. Pads for nozzles greater than NPS16 (DN 400) shall have a minimum of
33 2 vent holes and pads for nozzles in excess of NPS 36 (DN 900) shall have a minimum of 4 vent holes.Pads installed in sections shall have at least one vent hole per
34 section. Vent holes shall be tapped for testing purposes. Vent holes shall remain open until the completion of pressure testing. The material used for plugging shall be
35 adequate for the operating temperature but shall not be capable of retaining pressure.
36 M6 Saddle supports and Anchor Bolts shall be checked for Buoyancy Calculations.
37 M7 Vendor shall advise the Anchor Bolt requirements. Anchor Bolts will be supplied by PETROFAC. Anchor bolt shall be designed to an allowable stress of
38 100MPa (15,000psi) based on tensile stress area unless otherwise specifically noted on OL design drawings.
39 The minimum anchor bolt size shall be M24 (1”) in diameter. 3 mm on diameter corrosion allowance has to be taken into account.
40
41 MATERIAL NOTES
42 S1 Good weldability of steel to be assured by limiting carbon, phosphorus or sulphur content as per Table 3 of OL-TR-MVR-001.
43 S2 Carbon steel components used in this equipment shall be suitable for low MDMT of - 36 Deg C. Supplier to select suitable low temperature grade material or carbon steel
44 shall be suitably qualified for low MDMT.
45
46 QUALITY NOTES
47 Q1 Materials subject to post weld heat treatment (PWHT) shall be purchased with mill test reports indicating heat treating time sufficient to allow
48 at least one full PWHT cycle in addition to all planned PWHT.
49 Q2 100% radiography or ultrasonic tests are required, regardless of material, thickness or service, for all welds of pressure-bearing parts.

53 H1 Design and fabricate heaters in accordance with this specification and appropriate ANSI and ASME Codes.
54 H2 Unless otherwise noted, all heater materials shall be killed carbon steel.
55 H3 Heat loss shown is estimated with 15 % margin. Heater vendor shall be responsible for calculating heat loss based on dimensions reported in the datasheet
56 H4 Design and fabricate heater coils to pass through a manway of size indicated. Size of manway shall be considered accordingly.
57 H5 Drain vessel vendor shall provide steam heating coil plus necessary supports as required. Steam coil to maintain drain vessel contents at temperature of
58 20°C minimum.
59 H6 Preliminary steam coil duty is 7 kW. Steam coil to be selected as 1.5" NB and it should cover atleast 70% of the Vessel Diameter. Steam coil to be
60 located below Low Low Liquid Level.Vendor scope include detail mechanical design and supply of steam heating coil.
61 H7 Connections on the drain vessels shall be 1 1/2 inch for steam inlet and condensate return piping. Heaters shall connect to 1 1/2” pipe running 002
