25 N1 All bolt holes shall to straddle the North, South, East, West, Vertical or Horizontal centerlines.
26 N2 Flanges up to NPS 24 shall conform to ASME B16.5. Flanges greater than NPS 24 shall conform to ASME B16.47 Series B.
27 N3 Flanges that are intended for use with spiral wound gaskets shall have a flange surface finish of 125 microinch Ra minimum to 250 microinch Ra maximum.
28 N4 Process nozzles in the corroded condition shall be capable of withstanding the moments and forces as per JI2048-000-PI-TES-0001. Actual loads on nozzles
29 will be communicated after order placement, if greater than specified in the table. Vendor has to check nozzles under actual loads too without extra cost.
30 N5 The minimum neck thickness for all nozzles including manholes (unless design conditions dictate a heavier wall) is to be Schedule 80 (or EN equivalent)
31 up to and including DN200 (8") size, and 12mm (1/2") wall for DN250 (10") and larger.
32 N6 The minimum nozzle projection for the nozzles located on shell shall be as per PEC-EN-SDR-M-3224. For SR nozzles, Vendor to specify the nozzle projection.
33 The nozze located on top dish center shall have minimum 700 mm projection. All top nozzles on top dish shall be in same level of the center nozzle. This is to
34 ensure all nozzle flanges have adequate projection above top platform.
35 N7 Flange rating are specified in accordance with ASME B16.5 or ASME B16.47, Series B. Flange rating indicated in above table are based upon design pressure
36 and temperature conditions only, and do not account for other loads. The final design of all flanges shall account for gasket seating and external loads.
37 Differential thermal expansion, including joints between materials, and transient thermal conditions such as start-up/shut down and operational upset
38 (as applicable) shall be accommodated.
39 N8 Pump mounting nozzle M1 shall be designed for pump load. FEA shall be performed for this nozzle.
40 N9 Pump with mounting Flange and Discharge Nozzle O01 along with Gasket and Fasteners by Pump Vendor.
