Script-2 0

The script describes a mental health awareness video told through the story of two ordinary people. It shows their daily routines of waking up to a motivational message, working online all day, and going to bed. Over time, their motivation decreases and they start to feel burned out. Their emotional state declines until one day there is a knock at the door. This script outlines the scenes and shots to depict the characters' emotional transitions in a way that encourages viewers to focus on the feelings conveyed rather than words.

Part 2 of the Video

This is the short ad of the campaign that tackles about mental health.

Description:

The story is about two ordinary people who live exactly the same but strangers to each
other. They start their morning by staring at a motivational quote “You got this” on their wall,
do their online job for the whole day and go to bed at night. Until one day, the world consumes
them. Everything becomes nothing. They start to feel burned out and their motivations slowly
deplete. They begin to lock themselves and shut down their life, both virtual and physical. As
their world begins to rattle, the motivational quote in the wall also begins to fall down. One day,
they hear a knock on the door. They both stare at it, clueless of what to do next, until one of
them moves his feet and find himself going toward the door. A group of people wearing face
mask surprise him there. One of them removes his mask and smile at him. He then kneels
down and grabs the paper where “You got this” is written. The man slowly walks toward him
and glues the motivational quote on his door and said “I knew it. I know you got this.”

On the other hand, the other ordinary man is still staring at the door. He is still confused
whether to open it or not. But in the end, he chooses to open the door. In his surprise, he
seesnothing. It is just an envelope, containing his electricity and water bill.

The theme of the story is about emotional transition where the characters will just do the
same thing all throughout the video. The only thing that will change is the mood or the emotions
of the characters. Th writers used different symbolis align with the theme chosen. The video
depicts many life realizations for a person who is going so much struggles with his mental state.
The writers would like the audience to have their own interpretation of the informercial that’s
why the dialogue was crossed out in the video. They would like the viewers to focus more on
the emotions rather than dialogue since mental health is not something that can only be describe
through words.
