Predicting :

Judging from the background of the popularity of this book, of course we have no doubts about the
storyline, and the lessons we can take from this book.Yes, that's right, this book is very rich in lessons
about Emotional Intelligence.

Reading Purpose :

Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves' emotional intelligence book discusses self-control strategies, in
thought and attitude, which are described as the use of an individual in the world of professional work,
and social / community relations. Which aims to help prospective workers and also workers who do not
understand self-control, both emotionally or EQ. because almost all the strategies described in this book
are very well visualized and easy to understand in terms of description and use of language.

Fact and Opinion :

• Fact

"Out of all the people we studied in the workplace, we found that 90 isolated people also had a high EQ.
On the other hand, only 20 percent of low achievers had a high EQ. You can be a high champion without
an EQ, but the odds are slim People who develop an EQ tend to succeed at work because the two go
hand in hand. Typically, people with a high EQ make more money—an average of $29,000 more per year
than people with a low EQ. Between EQ and earnings is so direct that each point increase in EQ adds
$1,300 to annual salary. These findings apply to everyone in all industries, at all levels, in every region of
the world. We haven't been able to find a job where performance and salary are not closely related to
EQ."
The quotation above shows the facts that occur in the field about the lack of EQ in individuals in the
world of work.

• Opinion

In my opinion, this emotional intelligence book is very helpful for prospective workers, and especially
individuals who have already entered the world of work, because with an explanation of effective
emotional control and increasing EQ, it really helps to improve individual quality in the world of work.

Paraphrase :

Social awareness is your ability to accurately pick up on the emotions of other people and understand
what is really happening to them. He means "the ability to recognize emotions in other people and
understand what is really going on in a situation."
