    DISTRICT CAPACITY BUILDING ON GENDER SENSITIVITY IN EDUCATIONAL SETTING

    1. This is to announce the conduct of District Capacity Building on Gender Sensitivity in the
    Educational Setting on November 11, 2022 at F. Mendoza Memorial Elementary School,
    Calumpit North District.

    2. The activity aims to orient on the importance of Gender Sensitivity as it clarifies issues about
    genger disparities and gender issues primarily in our educational system, in which it always needs
    to become gender sensitive and gender friendly. Also, it plans to create best possible strategies to
    minimize gender discrimination at all levels in our society, Specifically, this undertaking intends
    to:
    a. Enhance appreciation and knowledge of GAD;
    b. Develop an understanding of basic gender concepts and their application
    To the long-term implementation of programming and initiatives;
    c. Have significantly increased their receptiveness and support to the social, economic and
    political empowerment of women.
    d. Prepare school GAD Plan, CSE action Plan and Budget for 2023; and
    e. Cascade the training to all School GAD focal persons in the District.

    3. The participants to this activity are the School GAD focal Persons.

    4. Attached herewith is Enclosure No. 1 contains the Training Matrix and Techical Team for
    reference.

    5. Health and safety protocols set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), Department of Health
    (DOH) and DepEd shall be strictly implemented and observed at all times.

    6. All expenses to be incurred in this activity shall be charged against School fund subject to the
    usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.

    7. Wide dissemination of this memorandum is desired to ensure cooperation of all concerned.
