Pag mamano Because ‘Pag mamano is a sign of respect to the elders. Using ‘Po’ and ‘Opo’ Using ‘Po’ and ‘Opo’ is also a sign of respect when talking to someone older than you. Christmas must be celebrated Filipinos enjoy parties, and Christmas brings families together, so the tradition should be preserved. Always asking someone with ‘kumain ka Inquiring if someone has eaten is a friendly na?’ gesture for your visitors, as well as a good start of a conversation to learn more about them. God is watching us and guiding us Knowing god is watching us and guiding us is important practice because it helps us control ourselves more and stay away from the temptaions.
C. Make a short analysis of your answers.
After typing down all my answer I realized that most of our practices and beliefs at home are from Filipino. After typing down and doing a research where they’re come from I am surprised that some of them are come from foreign countries that I thought is ours. I felt sad when I realized that Filipinos find it hard to say no or deny things when they asked to do something, Having that kind of practice is bad because it can be used against us and others can abuse it.
d. Make a short reflection of your analysis.
It made me happy and sad at the same time after I completed my analysis. Knowing the various traditions that we have at home, I discovered that almost everything we do is influenced by us Filipinos, meaning that we have not forgotten our culture and that it is still practiced. It made me sad because, after studying various Filipino traditions, I discovered that we, too, have certain bad habits that should be abandoned. Some of the Filipino customs and practices can be used by others and used against us. I hope that Filipinos' bad habits or values are eradicated from our everyday lives because they can only bring us harm.
