Being a teacher, I aspire to make a difference in the lives of children through
education. Education has always been my priority. Opportunities for equal

educational experiences may not exist, however the beauty lies in the growth of
love the students can develop in the classroom. I am dedicated towards provide a
safe environment to children where they could learn moral values along with
academics. I have been working as a teacher from past one and a half year and I
have thought more than 500 students so far. Parents of these children are very
happy with my teaching and that's what encourages me to do better. What I feel is
schooling is vital for being successful in life. I don’t think I would’ve made it
this far had I not taken my education seriously.I want to teach others about the
importance of education so they too can prosper. Everything I have learned at
university became so much important for shaping up my career.Every child deserves
the best education available and I should strive to be the best educator possible
to provide that for them. As an instructor I have to be more patient with the
students and try and understand their potential. Every kid is unique and have their
own way of learning. It is the duty of a good teacher to embrace the individuality
of the students. The students are very happy with the way I teach them and they
book maximum number of classes with me and they enjoy spending time with me that's
what makes me fortunate.The end goal is to nurture the development of my students
to become active and engaged participants in society, and that is what I intend to
do completely.
I am working as a teacher from past one and half years. At the beginning when I
joined the organization I had the goal to take trial classes for the students and
convert them to take regular classes. The demo class was to be taken for an hour.
In this 1 hour the teacher has to make the student understand the concept and build
a good rapport with the student taking the demo class and had to make the parents
understand the importance and use of taking regular classes. I had been given a
goal to convert every 1 student per 10 students taking the demo class. Within 2
months I converted 24 students who took the demo and I achieved my target. What was
more challenging was the time given was only 1 hour and the students were from
around the world. But it was more delightful to meet new students daily and share
my knowledge with the young minds. One more challenging task is that everyday I
have to learn a new concept. When balancing academics, work, and my social life, it
can get challenging to keep going. But, with the future of children’s education in
my hands, I always get back on track. The dream of success motivates me to study.
Not my success, my future students’ success. I push myself through the rough spots
for them. As aneducator, I am committed to helping my students succeed, achieve
more, and continue onto higher education. Every child should be given the
opportunity to showcase their strengths and follow their dreams.
Education must never be a fear or an unattainable fantasy to students. Education

must never be a money-making business. It It has been observed that some of the
private institutions take donations from students without giving receipts, in turn,
proving to be a source of 'black money'. Furthermore, the entrance exams are not
conducted in a fair way. Deserving candidates are not able to gain entry to
schools/colleges due to financial problems. Education is the process of shaping up
young minds. Education means inspiring the minds and not filling student's heads.
Every child learns in a slightly different way, experts say, and figuring out your
child's own learning style can help assure academic success. It's a very bad
practice to compare one student with another. Being a teacher, it is essential to
understand the ability and interests of the students and teach them accordingly.
It's not the money that must fascinate a good teacher but it's the satisfaction
that is earned by the improvement seen in their students. Even if we could make
difference in one student and make him develop interest in studies and see
improvement in him, its the biggest achievement for a teacher. The world we live
in is hard, unsteady and ruthless. We see this everyday in the harshness of
homelessness, to social media screaming for justice. The only solution to this is
Education. Education is essential for youth in creating opportunities for
themselves, staying away from illegal activities and providing for their families.
Teach for India's vision to provide "An opportunity to build a generation of
leaders" is a greater step towards educating India. Being a part of Teach for India
I look forward to be able to share my knowledge with the students and help them
develop skills and educate them and to come out as an achiever.
