Hiring of Consultant Grade 1 in NCVET
National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) under

MSDE intends to hire Consultant Grade 1 on Contractual Basis. The essential
qualification, experience and other terms and conditions for their engagement in NCVET
will be in accordance with the latest Procedures and Guidelines for engagement of
Young Professionals/Consultants in NITI Aayog adopted by NCVET, which are
available on www.ncvet.gov.in under “Notices" Section.
 The number of vacancies shown below are tentative and NCVET reserves the right
to increase / decrease the number of vacancies or withdraw the advertisement as per
requirement of these available posts, one post may be filled by Consultant Grade-I
(IT) subject to availability of suitable candidate.
 Interested individual may apply online via the link available on the NCVET website.
 On selection, the selected candidate shall submit a bond to work for NCVET for one
year from the date of their joining.
 The last date for submission of completely filled-in application form is 14-03-2023.
Details of the posts:
I. Consultant Grade 1: (03 Posts) General
Essential Qualifications
(i) Minimum Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree or BE/ B.Tech or 2

years PG Diploma in Management or MBBS or LLB or CA or ICWA etc or
possessing any Professional Degree earned after a study of 04 years or more
acquired after 10+2.
(ii) Good Interpersonal & Communication Skills & Presentation Skills.

Strategic thinking and ability to articulate ideas and recommendations for
enabling next level skilling ecosystem.

Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates with additional qualifications like MBA/ ME/ MTech/ LLM/ PG/
research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the
relevant field (Vocational Education, Training and Skilling) would be preferred.
Work Experience:
03-08 years or above in the following fields:
Government Regulatory Body; work in Social/ Development Sector; Policy & Planning,
Implementation, Supervision & Monitoring in Social/ Development Sector, preferably in
Vocational Education, Training and Skilling/ Education and Higher Education domain;
Technology/ ICT related fields; Government Consulting; Finance; work experience with
international development agencies, preferably in implementation of Programs.
Upper age Limit: 45 years as on last date of application.
Remuneration in INR: 80,000 to 1,45,000/- (The consolidated remuneration will

be inclusive of all applicable taxes and no other facility or allowance will be allowed).
II. Consultant Grade –I: IT (01) post
Minimum Educational Qualification:

BE / BTech/ MCA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Data Science or other
relevant areas.
Desirable Qualifications:
Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Data Science or other relevant
areas.
Work Experience:
(i) Applicants shall have the post qualification relevant experience of 03 years
after ME/ M.Tech or 05 years of experience after B.E/ B.Tech.
(ii) Essential Work Experience:

 System Integration Experience, including interface design and familiarity
with various architectures & application landscape.
 Understanding of IT systems & technologies related to development of
web page MIS and mobile applications.
 Strong established experience in implementing management information
systems, IT platforms, data repositories, data systems with the government
and development sector in program me implementation.
 Project Management & Vendor Management
 Knowledge of implementation on cloud, Software as a Service (SaaS),
Platform as a Service (PaaS).

 Experience in drafting IT roadmap, plan for large-scale Organizations.

 Experience in implementing projects in a multi stakeholder environment.
 Collaboration with internal and external stakeholder for technology
requirements.
 Preparation of periodic analytical reports & Dashboards.
 Knowledge of new age technologies and usage of these technologies in
Edutech and skilling domain.
 Basic knowledge of Data Security & Data privacy rules
(iii) Desirable Work Experience

 Knowledge of handling government RFPs.
 Knowledge of planning & implementation of a Technology Strategy
project
 Project Management Certification in this area.
 Knowledge of best practices used for implementation of Information
Security & Data privacy rules.
 Basic Knowledge of AR/VR, AI/ ML
