VALENTINES
For the girl:
Attach white yarn for the panties in the front loops of the last round. Make (1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc) in the next
stitch, repeat until the end of the round. Finish off.
I did not stuff the leg, but inserted a wire so they would be able to stand. This wire is inserted in the lower
part of the body and in the foot.
Sew the legs to the body.

Arms (make 2 for each doll)
Continue
Rnd 9 – 18: 7 sc
Finish off; leave a long tail for sewing to the body
I put wire in the arms, but you can also do them without it.
I pushed some wire through the body, at the point where the arms should be. I bent the ends in to avoid
them sticking out the hands. Afterwards slide the arms over the wire and sew them in place.

VALENTINES
Use skin color yarn
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the first chain
Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) x 3 (9)
Finish off, but leave a long tail for sewing to the head.
Ears
I did not make ears for the girl, as they cannot be seen underneath all that hair.
Mark the position of the ears on the boy (and if you want to on the girl). Attach a thread of skin color into
the stitch of the ear. Make 6 sc in the stitch and finish off.
Make the face using the photos as a reference. I cut out some white circles of felt and glued them to the
face. I glued them next to each other. You can glue them differently, but it will alter the expression of the
doll. Glue the beads to the felt.
Embroider a mouth and eyebrows. You can use some fake eyelashes for the girl.
Attach the yarn you want for the hair in a technique that suits you best. I had such fluffy yarn, that I did not
need to pull a thread through every stitch, but every 2nd or 3rd stitch.

Hearts
VALENTINES
Use red yarn. We make the hearts in 2 parts, cut of the thread after the first one and finish off.
Ch 2
Rnd 1: 6 sc in the first chain
Rnd 2: 6 inc (12)
Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) x 6 (18)
Rnd 4- 5: 18 sc (18)
Cut the thread on the first one, make a second one and continue. Connect the 2 parts by making 2 sc
through both parts, holding them together. Then continue:
Rnd 6: 16 sc in the 1st part, 16 sc in the 2nd part. (32)
Start stuffing.
