    Series of 2020

    AN AMENDMENT IN THE ORDER CREATING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK


    REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE OF BARANGAY KIBUCAY, UPI,
    MAGUINDANAO.

    WHEREAS, R.A. 10121 or otherwise known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and
    Management Act of 2010 provides for the development, promotion, and implementation of
    a comprehensive Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP)
    that aims to strengthen the capacity of the Barangay Local Government Unites (LGUs),
    together with partner stakeholders, to build the disaster resilience of communities, and to
    institutionalize arrangements and measures for reducing disaster risks, including projected
    climate risks, and enhancing disaster preparedness and response capabilities at the
    Barangay Level;

    WHEREAS, in response to the provisions of R.A. 10121 and to address the increasing
    concern on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management problems and the global
    apprehension about climate change, there is a need to organize and mobilize a Barangay
    Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Committee in Barangay Kibucay, upi,
    Maguindanao;

    NOW THEREFORE, I, WILLIEJUN M. USMAN, Barangay Chairman of Kibucay, by virtue of


    the powers vested in me by law, do hereby the following:

    SECTION 1. COMPOSITION. The Barangay DRRM Council shall be composed of the

    SECTION 2. FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

    2.1. Approve, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the BDRRMP,


    Contingency Plan, AIP and other relevant Plans and regularly review and test
    the plan consistent with other national and local planning programs;

    2.2. Ensure the integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change
    adaptation into local development plans, programs and budgets as strategy in
    sustainable development and poverty reduction;

    2.3. Recommend the implementation of forced or preemptive evacuation of local


    residents, if necessary and
    2.4.Convene the local council once every three (3) months or as necessary.

    SECTION 3 – EFFECTIVITY. This Order shall take effect immediately.

    RESOLUTION TO ADOPT AND APPROVE THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK


    REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (BDRRMP) 2020-2022 OF
    BARANGAY KIBUCAY, UPI, MAGUINDANAO
    WHEREAS, R.A. 10121 ensures that all LGUs like BLGUs must faithfully
    implement plans and programs to reduce the impact of disasters when it strikes to the
    community;
    WHEREAS, these plans and programs must answer the community needs towards
    resiliency in disaster;
    WHEREAS, the BDRRM Plan comprises undertakings that aimed to one ultimate
    goal which is to lessen the impact of disaster when it strikes to the communities
    WHEREAS, the BDC had already approved the BDRRM Plan for Barangay Kibucay
    and endorse it to the Sangguniang Barangay for final approval and implementation;
    NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Noel S. Hugo duly seconded by all
    members of the Barangay Council present, be it
    RESOLVED AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt and approve the BDRRM
    Plan of Barangay Kibucay, Upi, Maguindanao.
    RESOLVED FURTHER that copy of this Resolution be furnished to concern offices
    for information and reference.
    ADOPTED. AUGUST 01, 2020.

    BDC RESOLUTION NO. 06

    “RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ENDORSING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK


    REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT PLAN (2020-2022) OF BARANGAY KIBUCAY,
    UPI, MAGUINDANAO”
    WHEREAS, R.A. 10121 also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction
    Management Act of 2010 mandates all LGUs to undertake activities that aimed to plan
    proactively in disaster;
    WHEREAS, the BDRRM, a process of disaster risk reduction and management in which at
    risk communities are actively engaged in the identification, analysis, treatment, monitoring and
    evaluation of disaster risk in order to reduce their vulnerabilities and enhance their capacities, and
    where the people are at the heart of decision-making and implementation of disaster risk
    reduction and management activities;
    WHEREAS, considering the approval of the 3 Years BDRRM Plan of Barangay Kibucay,
    Upi, Maguindanao to develop and strengthen capacities of vulnerable and marginalized groups to
    mitigate, prepare, respond and recover from the effects of disaster;
    WHEREAS, in compliance with the directive, the Barangay Contingency of Kibucay
    formulated the said plan for the general welfare of the people towards resiliency;
    WHEREAS, Barangay Kagawad Mario P. Linto Sr. request the members of the BDC to
    adopt, approve and endorse the BDRRM Plan to the Sangguniang Barangay;
    NOW THEREFORE, upon deliberation on the matter presented and on motion of Kagawad
    Noel S. Hugo duly seconded by the majority;
    RESOLVED as it is HEREBY RESOLVED approving and endorsing the BBDRRM Plan
    (2020-2022) to the Sangguniang Barangay for its final approval and implementation.

    RESOLVED FURTHER that copies of this Resolution be furnished to the concern


    offices/agencies
    UNANIMOUSLY APPROVED this 01TH day of August 2020 at Barangay Kibucay, Upi,
    Maguindanao.
