Experiment 4 - Orientation Effect
Experiment 4 - Orientation Effect
Experiment 4 - Orientation Effect
Experiment No: 4
Aim: Study the effect of build orientation on part quality, build time and material consumption
in an FFF built part
Procedure:
1) Import the stl file to the 3D Printing interface software.
2) Decide on the orientation of the model.
3) Keeping speed, infill, layer thickness and other variables constant, vary the orientation of
the file in the build interface software
4) Note the total build time and material consumption indicated in the print preview
