1.1 INTRODUCTION
Business is the routine activity of earning money by meeting client requests through
producing goods, reselling things, offering services, or doing all three at once. In order to
maximize profits, it is a sort of business that requires a particular set of abilities and
information. Our company's nature is the Artistry Skincare business. Unisex appreciate
applying skin care to their faces to make them appear attractive, thus we built a standard
Artistry Skincare business. The business concept of our organization is for an owner and a
few managers to jointly launch our Artistry Skincare line.
Artistry Skincare was located at 1-06, Island Plaza, No. 118, Jalan Tanjong Tokong,
Pulau Pinang, 10470 George Town. Although if our business project is small, Sabah and
Sarawak are welcome to participate in our status project, which is open to all of Malaysia.
This is because we operate an online business via which we can receive orders from
anywhere in Malaysia and send them through PosLaju, J&T, and other delivery options. We
sell a variety of Artistry Skincare products, including cleansers, toners, moisturizers,
treatment items, serums, masks, exfoliators, anti-acne, eye, lip, and men's care products. For a
variety of skin types, including normal, dry, oily, combination, and sensitive skin, this
innovative skin care line was created. As implied by the name, the main ingredients of this
Artistry Skincare are vitamin C and hyaluronic acid. These two elements are excellent for
skin care artistry. Your skin is moisturized and plumped by hyaluronic acid, and it is
brightened and firmed by vitamin C. For marketing purposes, we advertise our items on a
number of websites, such as Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Then, as part of our
strategy, we want to launch an online store that will sell a range of goods all around
Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak. Overall, we believe that "beauty" will be a
tremendous success in the competitive artisan skin care market if we actively promote the
product, packaging, prices, and target the correct clients. Each of the three is essential to the
success of an Artistry Skincare product.

The client wanted to know how their products and approach differed from the
competition. They also wanted to know how they were perceived in the marketplace,
as they were a new entrant in claims review. We will study the company’s business
closely to learn the process and technology behind claims review. We learned how
they differentiated themselves from the competition. We will start to analyse how
they entreat into claims review from their other product area. We will go through
researched on claims review competitors, write some competitor profiles, and start to
link and analyse them. We concluded that our client was relatively unknown in the
claims review market. We discovered how fragmented the claims review marketplace
was, which gave the client a great opportunity for penetration if they moved quickly.
We identified best practices in claims review for the company to implement,
which they jumped on to grab market share.

📌We will pinpoint our competitors (direct & indirect) and the products they offer.
📲 Our operation admin will go through your competitor’s sales process: note
pricing, tactics, and promotions they offer.

👀 Admin will analyse competitor’s distribution and engagement in social media

like Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok.
We will Look at email, blogs, videos, podcasts, and anything else they use in their
content marketing strategy.

🔬Use a SWOT analysis to accumulate your data.

3.1 TARGETED CUSTOMER

People of various backgrounds purchase skin care lines, and different markets
have
different needs. Teens may want skin care products that help reduce acne, while
more mature customers may purchase products that offer anti-aging treatment.
Thoroughly research those customers' needs to help you identify the types of
ingredients you need to include in your products to help improve skin and prevent
skin problems. With knowledge of the market, you can also discover where your
skincare target market's customers shop, their budgets, ingredients that are
important to them and where they get their information about products.

The target customer group to our product is who able to value luxurious skin
products and willing to spend more money on selective skin care. Artistry
Skincare product is not going to be a mass market product; it is priced

9
accordingly. All the Artistry Skincare product are results of long-term
development and careful consideration of a functional product.
Our target customer with age wisely the target customer group would be from 18
to 65 years. The target customer group is interested in beauty and taking care of
themselves. Referring to lifestyle, they are keeping themselves in good shape and
are willing to spend some extra money in their skin care products.

3.2 MARKET SIZE

The market size of the line of business is usually the total number of potential
customers or total sales in a given year. For existing business types, you can look
at existing sales figures to see the size of the market. Simply put, market size is
the people to whom you will sell your products and services. The term is the value
or quantity of a market. Analysis or estimate the market size on the basis of basic
parameters, to facilitate the study of the market. Market potential is usually
another term for the same concept. Blank sales figures for an industry can often be
found online or through trade publications. If educational firms bring in new
business, firms may increase their market share by bringing technology to market.
Market sizing is an important part of the business plan process. But this is
planning not accounting. The market size section is an educated guess at how big
the available market for the product is and aims to show that a successful launch
and continued growth for the product is possible. It is based on available statistics
and trade association data.
A few key points should be remembered when trying to determine market size:
● Start from accurate base data.
● Double check any information with an alternative source if possible.
● Check the results make sense.
● Check the results using a bottom-up calculation.
● Keep the industry definition narrow.
● Be specific, don’t try and say for example, there are millions of properties in
the world with gardens and if we can take a very small percentage of that our plan
will work.
● The analysis will differ depending on whether you are dealing with an existing
market or a completely new market. For an existing product there will be market
and industry data available, for a new product you may need to carry out market
size research with potential.

10
3.3 MARKET COMPETITION

Competition defined as competition between companies selling similar skincare

products and services in order to achieve revenue, profit and market share growth.
Competition in the market forces companies to use the four components of their
marketing mix (also known as the 4P’s) to increase sales. These 4P’s represent
products, locations, promotions, and prices. Understanding and understanding
your competition can be a key step in designing a successful marketing strategy. If
you don't know who your competitors are and what their strengths and
weaknesses are, it's likely that another company can enter the competitive
landscape and provide competitive advantage.
Most growing companies want to learn, but not all are trying to learn from their
competitors. However, you may find that your game actually has a lot to teach
you. For example, there is a similar skin care product shop near residence. but the
skin care product is the most expensive. Most of them are given to rich people.
Our skin care product accepts at the lowest price. We will provide lots of
promotions to help teenagers who still studying.

11
4. MARKETING AND DISTRIBUTION

It's important for our Artistry Skin Care company to choose the right one. Our
distribution should align with the firm's overall mission and strategic vision including
its sales goals. The method of distribution of us will add value to the consumer. There

12
are consumers want to speak to a salesperson and also some want to handle the
product before they make a purchase.

Artistry company will consider how quickly our product reach the buyer. The chain
of distribution can get confusing as more people are added into the mix. Distributors,
wholesalers, retailers, and agents all work as intermediaries in the sales process. It is
important to know the key differences of the individuals who play a role in the
distribution process.

When working with distributors, brands have a responsibility to oversee the process
and prevent retail execution errors like out of stocks and distribution voids. This
requires setting up clear lines of communication between managers, sales teams, and
distributors to ensure you get that information as clearly and quickly as possible.
Brands that are on top of their game form better relationships with their distributors
and open up opportunities for expansion much easier than brands that communicate
on an ad hoc basis.

While emails and text messages may suffice for quick fixes, these simply won’t work
long-term. Your random ordering pattern may make it difficult to forecast demand or
keep distributors and retailers from receiving predicting shipments. This is where data
tracking and analytics become your best friend.

Product
Artistry is a product of women's and men's skincare. We focus on the quality of the
product to fulfil customer’s satisfaction. This product contains ingredients that are
suitable for all skin types. It also includes a variety of items categorised by skin
concerns, such as dry, oily, and combination skin. There are five (5) product line
which is Youth Xtend, Hydra V, Essentials, Ideal Radiance and MEN included Trial
& Travel Set.

Price
Artistry Skincare offer the price most suited to middle and upper class of people with good
incomes. The ingredients that we use are high quality and based on natural ingredients that
can be used for all skin type. After research all the ingredients cost, we decided to put a bit
high price comparable to ingredients that we used. Artistry Skincare follows a premium
pricing policy for its premium products to cover back its premium cost-prices.

Place
A strategic location is very important for a business to generate revenue our Artistry Skincare.
The location is situated in central of Kuala Lumpur area which can make us easier to sell our
products. Hence, we focus more on selling products through online platform which is more
convenient for our customer who are stay far from KL. We deliver the products to them safe
and sound without any doubt by courier.

13
Promotion
Our company's promotion strategy is a means of attracting the target market. To attain
marketing objectives, we used promotion in addition to product, pricing, and location tactics.
Promoting a business is the first step in developing and growing a new company by ensuring
that it is well-known to a large number of individuals. Continuous advertising, both online
and offline, is an excellent approach to promote the Artistry Skincare brand.
As for online advertising, we are using social media platforms such as WhatsApp, Facebook,
Instagram, and our website to advertise products. Advertising through social sites is easy to
implement, its free and effective method.
As for our next plan, we will put skincare vending machine at private schools and universities
to acknowledge them our product and brand. The function of that vending machine, they can
try and buy our trial set or loose product according to their skin types.

6. FINANCE

Generally, the financial section is one of the last sections in a business plan. It
describes a business’s historical financial state (if applicable) and future financial projections.
Businesses include supporting documents such as budgets and financial statements, as well as
funding requests in this section of the plan.

The financial part of the business plan introduces numbers. It comes after the
executive summary, company description, market analysis, organization structure, product
information, and marketing and sales strategies. The financial section of the business plan is
critical for moving beyond wordy aspirations and into hard data and the wonderful world of
numbers.

7. CONCLUSION

Every human being likes to have smooth, soft skin which radiates amongst others
and sets them apart from the crowd. For that part, they extensively spend large sums
of money in buying skin creams, which offer promises of providing more beautiful
and a smoother skin to touch. Some of them work, and some of them don’t.
However, the ones that work are quite expensive and not everyone can afford
them. The other alternative is to opt for natural, herbal products. Effective products
that are aimed at increasing your beauty mostly work, and make your skin look
extremely beautiful. The best part about such products is that they are manufactured
from purely natural products and no synthetic material is used, which might not be
compatible with a person’s skin.
No one likes touching rough or hard skin, especially not on a woman, so it is
important that you pay good attention to your skin and get regular treatment to avoid
your skin from getting harder. It’s good because new skin grows in its place, and
keeps your skin fresh and healthy, and it’s bad because your skin shouldn’t be falling

26
like this. Not even in winter. Your skin should be well catered to in order to avoid
diseases or problems that often occur with delicate skin.
For a woman, her skin is extremely important as the attraction factor also comes in
to play as men are mostly attracted to women that have skin that is extremely soft to
touch and feels silky. In order to achieve such type of skin, you must pay good care to
your skin and try not to ignore its needs.
