various shades and choices, which includes lip balm, lip tint, lip gloss and lip matte to
cater various skin tones and preferences.

The core of our brand is inclusivity. We celebrate all skin tones by offering lip
products and including diversity in our marketing campaigns, making sure everyone
feels appreciated and represented. We also invest our energy, time and resources in
R&D to provide the best and innovative lip products that bring out the latest
advancement to ensure our products are in the top tier quality and lead the beauty
trends.

Young adults also become our target market and audience because they are the
trendsetters and early adopters of new products. Targeting them would benefit us
because their choices influence market preference including old and young
consumers. This leads to a ripple effect that would help to increase the overall appeal
of our products.

On top of that, young adults are very active on social media like Instagram, TikTok
and YouTube. Young adults, especially women, are most likely to engage with
makeup trends because they do not want to feel left out and want to try something
new. By making them our target market and audience, we can take advantage of the
power of peer influence, influencer partnership and organic promotion.

Professionals are those who have to meet a lot of important people or clients as part of
their job. Professionals are usually required to look good and take care of appearance.
We are targeting them as our potential buyers because they are one of those people
that are interested in wearing lip products to enhance their look and boost their
confidence. Professionals also have high purchasing power. Compared to other
demographics, these professionals usually have higher income and they have no
problem purchasing lip products with quality especially from our brand.

Moreover, professionals have their own networking. By providing good lip products
and service to them, it can lead to word-of-mouth recommendation about our brand
and wider brand awareness.

c) Beauty and Makeup Enthusiasts


Beauty and makeup enthusiasts have the willingness to try our lip products because
they are passionate about beauty and makeup. Trying our lip products would be a
blessing for them because we offer high quality lip products. They are for sure

our products.

Relevance of The Pricing Strategy:


It is a form of the psychological strategy that we call it as a “charm strategy” as the price
ends with the number of 9. Our charm strategy can achieve price anchoring. When buyers are
presented with a choice of pricing, those that finish in nine might establish a cognitive
anchor, causing them to compare the price to a round number and consider it to be a great
deal. This pricing strategy also gives a left-digit effect. Usually, customers will focus on the
price at the leftmost digit first. For example, RM 39 seems cheaper than RM 40, despite only
RM 1 difference. This will psychologically trick the customers into buying our lip products.

Not only that, our lip products are all affordable, which means customers from different
economic backgrounds can actually afford our products. This is also to attract customers that
are price sensitive. These kinds of customers usually only purchase products based on cost.
These clients, who might otherwise choose competitors, may be drawn in by lower prices.

Besides, there is very high competition in the beauty industry. By putting reasonable prices
for our products, our brand has an advantage to draw customers away from other competitors.
At the same time, we would like to build a good relationship with our customers in order to
obtain customers’ loyalty and retention. Offering a good value for money would satisfy them
and lead to purchase repetition.

Puncak Alam might be a suitable place to base our Lippy Beautios business for a few
reasons:

Manufacturing:

● Cost-effective: Puncak Alam is known for its industrial areas, so we might find lower
rental rates for warehouses or manufacturing spaces compared to Kuala Lumpur city
center.

Target Audience:

● Growing residential areas: Puncak Alam has seen a rise in residential areas in recent
years. Depending on our target market, this could position us close to a potential
customer base.
● Student areas: Puncak Alam also has UiTM branches which can help us attract more
potential customers because students need the new collection lip product that can be
easily obtained at an affordable price. Other than that, the workers of UiTM also have
a large number of women that can be our targeted customers.

Considerations:

● Limited retail presence: Puncak Alam is primarily a residential and industrial area, so
there might be limited retail presence for selling our products directly. We might need
to focus on online sales or finding distributors.
● Distance to suppliers: Depending on our specific needs, we might be further away
from suppliers for ingredients or packaging compared to Kuala Lumpur. Factor in
transportation costs.

Overall, Puncak Alam could be a good option if we are focused on manufacturing and
cost-effectiveness. However, for direct retail sales to customers, a more central location might
be better.

Here are some additional things to consider:

● Target market: Who are we trying to sell our lip products to? Young people in urban
areas might have different preferences than families in suburban areas.

In this element, we make sure customers that visit our website will be satisfied and will be
eased with good service. From the moment they click our link to the delivery process will be
user-friendly. We provide relevant information about our products and each of them have
details such as the ingredients, benefits, and recommendations. Our products also offer a
variety of colors for each product. This will give customers many options to choose and buy.
Next, in terms of good internet experience, we leave it to G-AsiaPacific Sdn Bhd to manage
our website server. They are a cloud service provider that will develop and host our website
to make it smooth for customers to use. Our website will be available for all suitable smart
devices. Lastly, for the delivery process, we will use 3 courier services which are J&T
Express, Ninja Van, and PosLaju. These top 3 couriers will make it faster for the products to
arrive at the front door. Furthermore, it is easy to trace the journey of the products from its
departure to arrival.

PEOPLE

In order to give good service and satisfaction, it will need good employees to play an
important role in assisting customers. Therefore, we hire our own employees who have
experience and knowledge about customer service. We will make sure our employees will
always be ready to give factual information, assist in any problems, and give a good
impression on online interaction. We also provide after-sales support and advice as it is also
important to let customers know that we truly value them.

3.0 PAYMENT PROCEDURE

The payment procedure on the website is quite easy and we always offer the best option to
fulfill customer needs. The customer initiates the payment by selecting the desired product on
the website and entering their payment details.

Customers can select their desired product by clicking on the product name. Next, they can
click the ‘Add to Cart’ button and it will appear as above. It will show the product selected by
the customer to double confirm before payment. If the customer wants to make payment, they
can click the ‘View Cart’ button to finalize the payment and if they still want to shop, they
can just click the back button to see other products available.

After that, if customers have already decided to buy and pay, they can either use debit/credit
or by PayPal. By clicking the ‘PayPal Checkout’ button, they will be directed to enter PayPal
email. To make payment by debit/credit, customers can click the ‘Checkout’ button and it
will be directed to enter the card details.

- Structure : Users should be able to navigate the website with ease thanks to a clear
and uniform layout.
- Navigation : Users can navigate a website more effectively with the aid of clear and
simple menu options.

The relevance of having good layout as above:


- A good layout attracts the visitors of the website to explore further the website and
purchase a product. This is because a good layout will make them want to spend more
time on the website by exploring more pages and interacting with the content.
- A well-crafted layout often illustrates professionalism and credibility. A lot of
customers actually judge the quality of the website by looking at the layout and give
their trustworthiness to a brand based on their first impression.

The marketing strategy for Lippy Beautios, a company specializing in high-quality,


long-lasting, natural ingredients for lip makeup products. With that, the other platform for
this strategy will be Instagram, a social media platform known for its strong focus on visual
content and a large demographic interested in beauty products. With over 125K monthly
active users, Instagram provides an ideal platform to reach our target audience and showcase
the vibrancy and quality of our lip makeup products.

So, this is how to buy through the Instagram platform. Press the link in the description box on
our Instagram pages. After that, our business profile will appear, and customers must click
"shop" to buy our products.

Next, customers can choose the products they want to buy, and the product will go into "add
to cart" in the customer's profile.

After the customer has finished choosing to buy the product, they need to make the payment.
For the payment method, they can pay by "shop pay" or "PayPal", whichever is convenient
for them. Then, add the email and any further information that was asked for.

There are a lot of active users that engage and catch up stuff using Instagram every
day. It is said that Instagram has a billion active users. Instagram is relevant for us to
use as our business platform as it provides us a huge amount of audience to tap into.
For our brand, we mainly focus on young adults, professionals and beauty enthusiasts,
and Instagram is the right platform for us to reach our potential customers as
Instagram’s demographic skews towards younger users, particularly Millennials and
Gen Z, who are key consumer groups for many brands. Reaching these tech-savvy
and trend-conscious demographics is crucial for maintaining and growing our market
presence. Data about Instagram’s number of users is given below:

For the past few years, Instagram has come to the point where it provides e-commerce
features which ease the customers to do direct checkout. For example, there are

reasonable price. Aligning our objectives which are to enhance customers’ neutral beauty by
making their lips shine and glow, to encourage the use of hybrid lip products that combine
both beauty and protection on the lips and to offer various shades of lip products that match
various skin tones, we successfully offer lip balms, lip tints, lip mattes and lip gloss in the
market. These products come with a variety of shades that ease customers to find their
favorite shade. To attract people into purchasing our products, we put a reasonable price for
the lip products, so that people from any economic background can purchase it and we also
