    Cause: Unit intermittently errors out with an event/warnings 3167.01, 0106.01 or


    1501.05.

    Resolution: Flash Software 78 via Judit

    E3159.09 could be triggered if the incorrect steer motor type is detected


    after software update. You must change the motor type value via display
    or change the parameter value thru Judit access.

    Via Display Menu


    • Press program mode and setting softkeys.
    • Enter the password (default 4444)
    • Select steer parameters Motor Type = 0
    • Select “Motor” type
    o 0 = Previous Steer motor
    o 1 = Current Steer motor
    • Make sure to save before exiting
    • Key cycle is required to clear event
    message.

    If unit still presents an intermittent event/warning 3167.01,


    0106.01,1501.05 or events that had not been there prior to the software
    update; Please consider the following steps during your software flash:

    1. Jupes_Light 3.01.39 or higher


    2. SDT 4.367 or higher
    3. Download software 69 and upgrade software in consecutive order.
    4. Software 69, then 73, 75, 76 to end on 78.
    5. Make sure to have the key switch ON (Jumper installed if keypad or
    transponder option is applicable).
    6. EPO switch to be used to power ON and Off the truck during software
    flash (do not use the key switch to power ON and Off).
