Main task of the professional teacher


 A Teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans and educating students at all levels. Their
duties include assigning homework, grading tests, and documenting progress. Teachers must
be able to instruct in a variety of subjects and reach students with engaging lesson plans.

Creation of the Department of Public Instruction


 A highly centralized public school system was instituted in 1901 by the Philippine Commission by
virtue of Act No. 74. Act No. 74 also established the Department of Public Instruction, which was
headed by a General Superintendent.

industries and locations, i.e., whether highland, lowlands or along seashores.
