Good Morning, Class!
Good Morning, Ma’am!
Before we start our lesson, kindly arrange your chairs and
pick up the pieces of paper under your chairs.

(The students arrange their

chairs and pick the pieces of
paper under their chairs.)
You may now have your seats!
Thank you, Ma’am!
Ms. Secretary, is everyone present today?

That sounds great! Yes, ma’am!

How are you, class? How are you feeling right now?
We are fine, ma’am!

We are OK, ma’am!

We are good, ma’am!

Alright, It is nice to start our lesson if everyone is good
and if everyone is fine if everyone is OK because today,
we have a lot of activities and I want you to enjoy our
lesson and activities today.

The weather is good, the sun shines bright, as bright as

your smiles! And since summer is almost here, who
among you wants to go on vacation?
Me, ma’am!

Me too, ma’am!
If you all want to go on a vacation, pack all your things
now because I'll take you all to the beach today! I'll make
sure you'll have a good time and learn a lot during our
trip.

B. MOTIVATION

I know that you are all excited right now. But before we
leave, let’s help each other in choosing which beach is the
best place to go for a vacation. Is it okay for you, class?

If that’s okay with you all, I'll divide you into two groups. Yes, ma’am.
We will do an activity called “DESCRIBE ME” so that
we can easily decide where we are going.

I was scrolling through my Facebook wall earlier and I

saw these two beautiful beaches that we can try to visit.
Since we've already tackled a Venn Diagram. I want you
to spot the similarities and differences between the two
beach resorts using a Venn diagram to determine which
one is better to go on vacation. Is that clear?

Okay, I'll be giving you 3 minutes to spot their similarities

and differences.
Yes ma’am.

(The students spot the

Since we are all excited, let’s turn the atmosphere into a
beach resort by just simply saying the magic word Me ma'am!
“ARAT NA SWIMMING!” Where we can enjoy the

given to you, there is also a given topic and you must
select one member from your group to discuss and present
it in front of the class.

Did you get it, class?

I’ve already given you your swimming essentials. But
