Motic Images Multi-Focus
Motic Images Multi-Focus is multi-focal-plane image combination and
manipulation software.

When using a Motic Images Microscope to observe an object with an unsmooth

surface, the result may be a blurry or partially focused image due to the different
focal planes used for observation. In cases such as this, capture the image from
different focal planes and then, using the Multi-Focus software, combine the
captured images to create one sharp image.

becomes blurry and then gradually adjust the focus knob in the
opposite direction until the first sharp object is obtained. From this
point, begin to capture images until the final focal plane is reached.
3. The Z axis will move from far to near the object until the object
becomes blurry again. While capturing, be sure to adjust the Z axis
in the same direction.

6
Note:
a) When the adjustment is made from a sharp region to another sharp region,
the step distance should not be too large. The first sharp region should
gradually become blurry while the next sharp region gradually becomes
focused.
b) When capturing images, if the color or brightness is unacceptable, apply
the White Balance or Auto Expose functions from the image capture tools
to adjust the image.
In order to better capture and combine images, please refer to Capture
samples below.
