Our Alumnae Association supports four organizations in the Denver Metro area through our philanthropy. We are proud to help Autism Speaks, Boys and Girls Club (sponsoring boys/girls at camp), FACES (Family Advocacy, Care, Education, Support) (home visitation program), and the Family Crisis Center (temporary housing for abused children). Thanks to the incredible response to the Sweet Charity Brunch and Auction (our

ONLY fundraiser) last October, 2010, we donated the following amounts to the groups. Autism Speaks received $2300 plus $101 from the Autism Walk. Boys and Girls Club, FACES, and Family Crisis Center each received $2000. We have several philanthropy events planned and we hope you will be able to help out. Did Know? 1 in 110 children are diagnosed with autism. 1 in 70 boys are diagnosed with autism. A child is diagnosed with autism every 20 minutes.
