WHY IS MATHEMATICAL LANGUAGE POWERFUL

Welcome to our presentation. As you can see on the screen, our group would like to present our
topic about why mathematical language is considered powerful.
To start this discussion, we have to understand first WHAT the language of mathematics is.

We all know that Language is a systematic form of communication used by a country or region.
Mathematics is written in the exact same way in all languages of the world. Mathematical language
is a system used in mathematics to help people express theories, concepts, and ideas is known as
mathematical language. It communicates abstract, logical ideas and is distinct and distinctive from
the typical language most people are accustomed to using. In other words, a mathematical equation
or expression does not need to be translated in another language to be understood by someone
living on the other side of the world.

A mathematical language is comsidered to be concise, precise, and powerful. However, what is in a

mathematical language that makes it so powerful?

First off, Mathematical Language can express complex thoughts with relative ease so that people
can understand them easily. Math can act as a universal language. A phrase or formula has the
same meaning, regardless of another language that accompanies it. In this way, math helps people
learn and communicate, even if other communication barriers exist. For example, the basic
mathematical symbols (+, -, ×, ÷) would all mean the same in different parts of the world.

In addition to the following justifications, Mathematical language and symbols are powerful because
they provide clarity. It allows learners, individuals, or mathematicians to make it easier for them to
understand any representation of complex ideas, concepts and relationships precisely and
concisely. By using these languages and symbols, it allows us to quickly and better understand, for
example, the concepts of calculus in calculating and designing effective structural systems.

Moreover, the mathematical language is important to the learning process when it comes to
mathematics. It makes it powerful since it has the ability to express complicated concepts with no
difficulty so that most people can understand them easily. For instance, in Algebra where the most
common expressions are numbers, sets, and functions.

The language of mathematics is also the system used by mathematicians to communicate

mathematical ideas among themselves and is distinct from natural languages in that it aims to
communicate abstract, logical ideas with precision and unambiguity.

When complex ideas can be expressed with a fair amount of ease, the mathematical language is
deemed to be powerful. A written language used in conjunction with mathematics gives the human
intellect strong tools and assistance. In the sciences, including physics, computer programming,
medicine, and other fields, mathematics is employed in research projects and the development of
new technologies.

Mathematical language can be more powerful as it represents the occurrence of an event in a way
that makes interpreting and calculating easy. Take TALLY TABLES for example. It is widely used in
many forms of communication, research, and data analysis. Tally tables are also universal. This
means that they can be used in any language or dialect, regardless of the alphabet, language or
number system used.

Mathematical language is also powerful because it can design and build a building. In architectural
design, geometry, algebra, and trigonometry are all essential concepts. These mathematical
formulas are used by architects to plan their blueprints or early sketch drawings. They also estimate
the probability of problems the building team would have as they execute the design objectives in
three dimensions.

Taking everything into account, math is not just the combination of numbers and symbols in the
formation of equations and analytic problems needed to be solved. Some people find beauty,
excitement, and fun in mathematics. Math may be practical and useful for certain people. But still,
mathematical language is powerful. Globally, mathematics enhances our everyday lives, fuels the
internet, saves lives, and will prevent the extinction of the human species. Locally, mathematics
helps us navigate, helps us choose healthy foods, and helps us create art. It also enables
organizations to prosper.
