DETAILS OF INVESTIGATION:
At approximately 1:00 pm on May 1st, 2023, the Bureau of Fire Protection received a
report of a fire at a commercial building located in the Casmor Phase 2 Mabiga, Mabalacat City,
Pampanga. A team of firefighters was immediately dispatched to the scene to extinguish the
blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings. Upon arrival, the BFP team found that
the fire had originated in the kitchen area of the building and had quickly spread to other parts of
the structure. The firefighters quickly set up their equipment and began to battle the flames
using water and foam.
Despite the intensity of the fire, the BFP team was able to contain the blaze within an hour and
prevent it from spreading to adjacent buildings. No injuries were reported among the building
occupants or the BFP personnel.
The municipal fire marshal FCINSP SHEILA MARIE C FLORENDO ultimately declared
the fire out after an approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes long firefighting effort at around 0915H
on the same day.
The fire started in the kitchen residence, resulting in the total destruction of the structure.
The initial fire damage estimate is around P250,000.00, with no casualties reported.

DISPOSITION:
The cause of fire, as well as other circumstances of this incident is the subject of the ongoing
investigation.
