    Church is made up of a group of people who obey Christ. it is the assembly or association of
    followers of Jesus Christ. (Hebrews 5; 8-9)

    Church is described as local communities and in a universal sense to mean Christian believers

    , John Knoxx press.

    SIGNIFICANCE

    1.Play a vital role in assisting the poor

    1.1Provide food hampers and housing for the homeless

    2.Provide emotional support to people who go through difficulties (Levison 1996, Ellison and
    Levin 1998’ church based emotional support, negative interaction and psychological well
    being

    2.1Offers counselling services to people who go through difficulties

    3. The church provide education services (James Wikinson, Ninetta Santor, Jae Major)

    3.1Makes youth groups in supporting cultural and academic adjustment

    4. The church plays a important role in community cohesion(brainstorming)

    4.1 Important because we live in multicultural and multi religious society.
