TRADITION COLOR WHEEL

The color wheel can be divided into primary,
secondary and tertiary colors.
PRIMARY COLORS- yellow, blue, and red.
SECONDARY COLORS-These are color combinations
created by the equal mixture of two primary colors.

secondary colors

COMPLEMENTARY COLORS
Complementary colors may also be called "opposite colors".
Complementary colors are pairs of colors which, when
combined or mixed, cancel each other out (lose hue) by
producing a grayscale color like white or black. When
placed next to each other, they create the strongest
contrast for those two colors.
09

ANALOGOUS COLORS
Analogous colors are groups of colors that are next to each
other on the color wheel. Red, orange, and red-orange are
examples.They create harmonious effect.
10

SPLIT COMPLEMENTARY COLORS

Split-complementary is a color scheme using one base color
and two secondary colors. The base color is main, while the
secondary colors should be used only for highlights and
accents.

MONOCHROMATIC &ACHROMATIC COLORS

Monochromatic colors are all the colors (tones, tints, and shades) of a
single hue.

qualities seen in stars and in lamps emitting“white”light.

PRINCIPLES OF DESIGN
Inspiration - leaves of plant

5 principles of design:-
- Harmong ( state of equilibrium in objects)
- Contrast (variation in thé elements of design)
- Symmetry (mirror image)
- symmetry balance( on center and diagonal)
- Rhythm ( one entity is repeating itself in regular or irregular intervals
