What is EQAO? EQAO is an acronym for the “Education Quality and Accountability
Office.” Each year in Ontario, EQAO administers Reading, Writing, and Mathematics
tests to grade 3, 6, 9, and 10 students. Tests are based on The Ontario Curriculum and
are developed, reviewed, and scored by teachers in Ontario.
