This document provides setup instructions for connecting a PlayStation or Xbox console to a GameVPNs VPN. Play station 4 & 5 setup guide:

The first step after signing up and purchasing is to visit the gamevpns dashboard at
https://gamevpns.com/account-details make sure you visit the site will connected to your
home network ( your playstation should also be connected to the same network ).

Then take alook at the check list on the left of the dashboard page.

If it is not activated you will see an activate button.

You should select a vpn country from t he right of the panel then click the activate button
on the left of the page.

Next you should open your playstation from the home screen, then open the settings icon
and select "network".

Then click on the settings tab under the connection status tab, next choose to set-up an
internet connection.

Select "lan" if you usually connection through a wired connection or select your home wifi
connection if you usually connect through wi-fi.

After choosing your network, select advanced settings to continue, in the ip address settings
select "automatic".

Under the "dhcp host" select "don't specify".

Under "dns settings" select "manual".

Then under the primary and secondary dns fields you should input the primary and
secondary dns ip addresses shown on the dashboard in the gamevpns.com website.

Then under "mtu settings" on the playstation select "automatic.

Under "proxy server" select "don't use".

Next you will need to power cycle your playstation by phsically unplugging the power cord
from the playstation, waiting 10 seconds and then plugging the power supply back into the
playstation.

Turning the playstation off for 10 seconds is important as it will make sure that any dns
cache is deleted from your console making sure you do not have any dns issues whilst using
our services.

Now go back to the dashboard on the game vpns website and select a country from the vpn
locations and click connect.

Now start call of duty or if it was already loaded then restart the game, and from the home
screen select the account and network settings and select network info, you should now see
that the location displayed matches the vpn server you selected on the gamevpns.com
website.

Setup is now complete and you are ready to start playing, don't forget to restart the game
every time you wish to change to a new vpn server for the settings to take affect in game.

Under "IPv4 dns settings" select "manual".
