All reptiles are cold - blooded and all are creeping animals with backbones.
They breathe using their lungs. They have scaly skins. All reptiles lay eggs. Some
examples of reptiles are crocodiles, snakes, and iguanas.

Lizard is an example of reptile. Lizards have a clever way of escaping from their
enemies. If you catch one by its tail, you will lose the lizard and find yourself holding
a wriggling tail. Lizards are unique because they break off their tails when they are
chased.

Chameleon, another type of reptile is the master of disguise. It changes colour very
quickly to blend in with its surroundings.

Read the passage below and answer the questions that follow.

Ants live in a large group called colonies. Each colony consists of three types of ants. They are the
queen, the workers, and the males.
The queen and the males have wings, while the workers do not. Usually, a colony consists
of only one queen ant. The queen is the only ant that can lay eggs. The queen is also the largest ant
in the colony. The workers have different duties to perform in the colony. Some take care of the
eggs. Some take care of newly hatched ants called larvae. Some gather food and keep their home
clean.
Ants use their antennae to find food and to find their way back home. Ants are omnivorous.
They eat both meat and plants.
Some workers ants are given the duty of solider to protect the queen, defend the colony,
and even attack enemy colonies for food and nesting space. These soldier ants are normally bigger
than the rest of the workers. They also have bigger and stronger mandibles.
