    Once upon a time, there was a puppet named Oscar.

    He was a small, wooden puppet with big,


    blue eyes and a red, felt mouth. Oscar lived in a toy store, and he was always lonely. He wanted
    to have friends, but the other toys didn't want to play with him. They said he was too small and
    too different.

    One day, a little girl named Sarah came into the toy store. She saw Oscar and immediately fell in
    love with him. She picked him up and took him home with her.

    Sarah played with Oscar every day. She would read him stories, sing him songs, and even take
    him for walks in the park. Oscar was so happy to finally have a friend.

    One day, Sarah was playing with Oscar in the park when a group of older children started to pick
    on him. They called him names and made fun of him. Sarah was so angry that she stood up to the
    older children and told them to leave Oscar alone.

    The older children were surprised by Sarah's outburst, and they backed down. Sarah picked up
    Oscar and gave him a big hug. She told him that he was her best friend, and that she would never
    let anyone hurt him again.
