BS-ARCHI 1-4

ASSESSMENTS

Task 1:

1. ) Section 2 - Declaration Policy of RA 9163 states that “It is hereby affirmed the prime
duty of the government to serve and protect its citizens. In turn, it shall be the
responsibility of all citizens to defend the security of the State and in fulfillment thereof,
the government may require each citizen to render personal, military, or civil service.”
How can you contribute to the State as a student of NSTP?

- As an NSTP student under CWTS (Civic Welfare Training Service), I can contribute by
serving the community even in a small way, not just by volunteering or participating in
cleaning public places but also volunteering to participate in various activities/programs
that help or in connection with serving people or communities not only for their needs
but also for their security.

2. ) In your own words, how do you define National Service Training Program?

- In my own words, I define NSTP (National Service Training Program) as teaching and
developing students like me to be aware of the importance of helping or giving
concerned to others, because it assesses what a student can do for the community in
small or simple ways. The student is also given training to help them better comprehend
their community's responsibility.

3. ) Have you participated in voluntary, civic consciousness activity, or community

immersion programs before? Tell us about your experience.

- Not yet, but before to joining Junior high school, I had experience helping to clean or
tidy the room, which they call “Brigada Eskuwela” , where we assist our teachers in
tidying or cleaning not only the room but also the area around it. We also pick up
rubbish on our school's oval on occasion. And maybe one day I'll be able to take part in
programs to get better experience.
