Position: Resident Engineer- Marine works
Client: Abu Dhabi Oil Company (ADOC) Ltd. (Japan).
Employer: Halcrow
Project: Supervision of Hail Site Terminal

Project Scope:
 ADOC is looking to develop a new Terminal Island adjacent to the HAIL-3 Island.
 Dredging required for channel & turning basin to cater for offshore rigs.
 ADOC Terminal Island to be reclaimed from dredged material.
 Leftover dredged material used to be disposed to the Gull Island.
 The project includes the construction of 350m long Quay wall of sheet pile, along with Quay furniture,
Reclamation of 200m long causeway, rock revetment and Heliport.
Responsibilities:
 Coordinate with Statutory organizations and Authorities.
 Review and approval of all deliverables
 Review and approval of the schedule and report to Client.

Position: Senior Project Engineer for Utilities and Offsite (U& O), Port & Marine works
Client: Abu Dhabi National Chemicals Company (ChemaWEyaat)
Employer: Foster Wheeler International (Project Management Consultants)
Project: FEED for Tacaamol Aromatics Project (TAP) at Madeenat ChemaWeyaat-Ruwais Abu Dhabi.
Contract Value: $ 800Millions

Project Scope:
 The Abu Dhabi National Chemicals Company (ChemaWEyaat) has been formed with the mission of
developing Madeenat ChemaWEyaat Al Gharbia (MCAG) for the construction of world-scale integrated
chemicals complex in a 70 square KM site located in the western region of Abu Dhabi to the east of
Ruwais. This will be developed in several phases up to the year 2030.
 The first phase is the Tacaamol Aromatics Project (TAP).
 TAP includes the naphtha feedstock provided by ADNOC from TAKREER Refinery and Propane from
GASCO by 32inch and 14inch diameter pipelines respectively each one approx 10 KM.
 The marine part consists of a marine export terminal with 2km long causeway having 3 liquid berths and 1
construction cargo berth, a dredged approach channel, vessel maneuvering areas and 7KM long seawater
intake pipeline and outfall structure to serve the complex.

Responsibilities:
 Coordinate with FEED Engineer the Pre FEED activities
 Coordinate with Statutory organizations and Authorities.
 Review and approval of all deliverables related to Marine, seawater and Civil Utilities.
 Review and approval of the schedule and report to Client.
 Attend weekly and monthly progress meetings.
 Liaise with stakeholders and authorities.
 Review and approval of contractor invoices.
 Review and approval of Invitation to Bidders (ITB)
 Coordinate with the EPC bidders.

Position: Resident Engineer Marine works approved by GASCO Abu Dhabi
Employer: Worley Parsons (PMC)
Project: Construction of Gasco Sulphar Channel and Widening/Deepening of Borouge Channel at
Ruwais -Abu Dhabi
Contract Value: $ 300Millions
Project Scope:

 The project comprises of Dredging & reclamation for the 3.50Km Long, 150m wide & 16.10meter
deep Gasco Sulphar Channel including a turning basin of 650m dia.
 Dredging & reclamation for the widening of Existing Borouge channel from 125m width to
160meter & depth from -10.0m to -13.50m including a turning basin of 650.0m dia.
 The total dredged Material of more than 23millions cubic meters is disposed to construct an offshore
Star shaped Island at 4.00km away from the channels.
 The project also includes all navigational Aids.

Responsibilities:
 Liaison with the client for all correspondence and updates on the Milestone Delivery, Schedule
impacts, Progress and Variations during planning, construction, Testing and commissioning &
handover stages.
 Review & Supervision of Coastal protection works (Rock revetments & Concrete Quay wall).
 Review/Approval of method statement for the dredging & reclamation.
 Review/Approval of method statement for installation of Navigation Aids.

 Review/approval of Water boxes, Silt curtains and Bunds to reduce & monitor the
silt control into the sea as per the Environmental requirements.
 Witnessing & reviewing Monthly Bathymetric survey for the dredged & reclaimed areas.
 Review of Interim payment.

 Monitoring Safety & Environmental aspects of this critical project.

Position: Senior Infrastructure Engineer/Project Manager for Marina Square Project
(Reem Island Development Project Abu Dhabi).

Contract Value: AED 4 Billions.
Project Scope:

 Tamouh Investment is a reputed property developer constructing High Rise Towers, Waterfront
Villas & Infrastructure utilities like Gravity Deep Sewer Lines/Pumping mains, Storm water,
Potable water, Irrigation, Power(MV, LV), Street Lighting, Telecom, Gas, District Cooling &
Automated Vacuum Waste collection system(AVWCS), Roads, Tunnels , Bridge, Marinas &
Beaches at Reem Island Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:
Worked as an Infrastructure Project Manager for the renowned Project
(Marina Square at Reem Island Abu Dhabi)

Contract execution and Site Supervision responsibilities for the following packages:

i) Dredging & Reclamation work for the artificial channel and beach around the Marina square
project.
ii) Construction of 3Km long Quay Wall of Secant Piles & filler piles (1200mm dia & 15 meters
deep), including cast in situ Top capping beam & post tensioned promenade & precast panels
on the sea side of Marina & artificial channel.
iii) Construction of 7.5 KM of Rock armored Groynes of quarry run core with geo textile lining.
iv) Drive in position, 350 Nos. Steel Tubular mooring piles in deep water for Marina.

v) Construction and installation of 400 berth marina with concrete pontoons and fingers with
M&E facilities.
vi) Construction of Marinas Special security System including perimeter, gate management
access control, CCTV surveillance & wifi connected to the Yatch Marina security Club
Building and Etisalat telecommunication network.
vii) Re-Flooding of channel, diversion and re-instatement of public highway.
viii) Construction of 800M beach nourishment.
ix) Construction of 25 KM of highway (4 lane dual carriage way) including cut/fill and sourcing
of dry sand from selected borrow from outside. In addition to this it also includes On Podium
internal roads, 03 number of bridges for canal crossings

This project cost is AED; 3 billion which includes an interchange on Abu Dhabi –Dubai highway having
eight post tensioned box girder bridges, six vehicular under passes, eight post tensioned box girder
bridges over creeks,15 precast pre-stressed girders internal bridges and 52 km 5-lane dual highway &
heavy infrastructure works for the whole Yas Island

Responsibilities:
 Review of Shop drawing for Piers, Abutments, Piles, Pile caps, Deck slab ,Post tensioning & Pre-
Tensioning of bridges & Tunnels & Precast panels,

Position: Civil Engineer /Quality Assurance Coordinator (Approved by DMA-ADM Abu Dhabi)

Project: Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque – Abu Dhabi (Known as the Grand Mosque).
Project Scope:
 The mosque is one of the highest profile projects in the UAE and is considered to be the 3rd largest in
the Muslim world .This project is valued at over $ 900 million and is being constructed for the
Department of Municipalities and Agriculture (Abu Dhabi Municipality).
 The reinforced concrete structure is designed in consideration of low seismic zone in harmony with
traditional Islamic architecture and protected with the Migratory corrosion inhibitor (MCI). The total
number of worshipers that can be accommodated during peak times is 60,000.
 The structure also includes a combination of pre-cast and shotcreted domes totally 82 nos varying in
sizes from 6m up to 36m in diameter (Main Domes reach a height of 80 m above ground floor
level), an open court yard of 150mx160m bounded by Arcades, 4 minarets reach 110m, steel
structural works (Total 90,000 Tons), underground car parking, reflective pools, extensive
landscaping works, separate buildings house technical services for water, electrical and A/C
 The high quality finishes includes: 165,000m² of marble (Wet and Mech. Fixing System), 30,000 m² of
decorative (GRC, GRG, GRP) works, architectural lighting, water features, mosaic works, pietra dura
works, and much more.
Responsibilities:
 Working in the ISO 9001-2000 Quality Control & Quality Assurance system
 Witnessing Different 3rd Party tests for concrete (In situ & Durability tests for Piling & other
Substructure & Super structures), Steel (Hot dip galvanized, Painting system A, Fire proofed painting
& Stainless steel, Fillet & Butt welding, MPI & Ultrasonic test), Aluminum (Powder coating , Gold
anodized, Cast & Extruded) Marble(Pull out test for the anchorage system, Idro lasa & Akiemi Stain &
water repellant tests for Lasa, Carara, Bianco, Makrana, Translucent panels & China Marbles) GRG &
