WORKSHEET: METHODOLOGY OF RESEARCH

Select your methodology and fill in the table with suitable items based on the methodology of
your research.

1. QUANTITATIVE RESEARCH DESIGN

DESIGN SURVEY
ITEMS

Objective/Purpose To explore the awareness of Kuala Kubu Bharu’s citizens about

Malay’s reality television show that contains soft porn.

Population 100 people

Sample and stratified random sampling (period of work experience,

Sampling gender, location of school)

Sample Size Based on Krejcie & Morgan Table = 100 people

Method of Data Survey

Collection
(Several steps must be taken before the data collection process
Procedure of Data can be carried out. In summary, five important steps that need
Collection to be done by any researchers to ensure that the data collection
process runs smoothly. The first step is to identify the problem
and the purpose of the data collection. This was followed by the
selection of sources (respondents) with the aspect of time,
financial and personal capabilities. This was followed by asking
permission from the location selected by letters or through email.
Data collection is the most important part and should not be taken
lightly to make this survey works perfectly accurate. Finally, last
step is analysing the data.

Writing Quantitative Research Design according to the details filled in the above
table. (Use the below template)

The study was carried out utilising a quantitative research method with a survey
design. Quantitative research will emphasise objective measurements and statistical,
mathematical, or numerical analysis of data gathered through polls, questionnaires, and
surveys, as well as through modifying pre-existing statistical data using computing tools.
The goal of quantitative research is to collect numerical data and generalise it across
groups of individuals or to explain a specific occurrence (Babbie, Earl R., 2010; Muijs,
Daniel., 2010). The population of this study is 100 people from citizens at Kuala Kubu
Bharu, Selangor. Using techniques stratified random sampling according to level of
education, location of institution, interest, and age. This study involved 100 respondents
based on Krejcie & Morgan Table as sample size. The data obtained using electronic
questionnaires through google form as an instrument of study containing questions
related to the reality tv shows that contains soft porn and distributed by random. Data
collection method that used is survey method with five important steps that need to be
done by researcher to ensure that the data collection process runs smoothly. The first
step is identifying the problem and the purpose of the data collection. The next step is
selecting research location and sources (respondents) with the aspect of time, financial
and personal capabilities. This was followed by asking permission from the location
