Dichloromethane is metabolized in the body producing carbon monoxide which increases
and sustains carboxyhemoglobin levels in the blood, reducing the oxygen-carrying capacity
of the blood.
To the best of our knowledge, the chemical, physical, and toxicological properties have not
been thoroughly investigated.
