• This pattern is made using US terms.
• It can be made smaller by reducing the ply yarn you are using and the hook size.
• Crochet using a tight stitch and stuff generously so it keeps it shape.
• All of the decreases done in this pattern are invisible decreases. This video is very helpful on
learning how to do this type of decreasing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OUBbOZ1Ennk

Mask
Use white yarn
Round 1: 6 SC in MC (6)
Round 2: INC X 6 (12)
Round 3: (SC, INC) X 6 (18)
Round 4: 5 INC, 14 SC (24)
Round 5: SC around (24)
Round 6: SC 4 additional stitches and then SL ST. This is an incomplete round just to even out the mask.
Leave a long tail for sewing the mask onto the face. When the front of the mask is facing you, the tail end
should be on the upper left-hand side.

Now, insert safety eyes between rounds 2 & 3 of the mask. Do not put the washers on the back. This will
be done later. Make sure the eyes are inserted above the magic circle. The magic circle will act as the
nose.

Round 10: (2SC, DEC) X 6 (18)
Stop here and attach the mask to the head using the safety eyes that are already inserted in the mask. The
safety eyes should be attached between rounds 6 & 7 of the head. Get the mask lined up and attach the
washers to the back of the eyes. Continue finishing the head.

Round 26: (2SC, DEC) X 6 (18)
Finish stuffing body
Round 27: Round 10: (SC, DEC) X 6 (12)
Stuff the bottom rounds pretty full as they will be the feet. Then close up hole.

Feet
Start by inserting the needle with brown thread in the bottom center of your doll. Then pull out at
the top middle where the dark brown and black rounds meet.

Now insert threaded needle back through center hole and pull. Repeat this a couple times until
you have the desired look. You will also do this on the back side to create the back of the feet.
Both sides will look similar to this.

5 |Page
Pants
Now you will create an indention in the black area to resemble pants. This will be done the same
way we created the feet. Insert your needle with a long string of black yarn at the top middle of
where the black and blue sections meet. Pull the needle out through the back in the same round.

Then insert the threaded needle where the black meets the brown and pull through to the front.
Continue doing this a couple times and pull the yarn tightly. It should end up looking like the
below picture.

Mask Straps
Use black yarn
Make one chain of 7 and then a chain of 14. Leave long tails for sewing onto the back of the mask. We
will attach these later.

Round 2: SC around (5)- On last stitch change to light brown
Round 3-5: SC around (5), SL ST

Jason Assembly
1. Sew the mask onto the face using either your white tail end or a new piece of white yarn.
Don’t flatten the edges of the mask to the face. Sew it a couple rounds up and don’t pull too
tightly or it will lose its oval shape.

2. Now you will attach the mask straps to the head starting with the longest strap. It will be sewn
horizontally across the back of the head and attached at the sides of the mask. The shorter
piece will be attached vertically from the top center of the mask to the middle of the horizontal
strap.

3. Next, you will wrap the jacket around the back of the body. The longest part will be on the top
and you will flip the corners out to create the collar. Then take a long strand of light brown
yarn and sew the jacket to the body directly under the flipped out collar.

4. Add the arms to the sides of the body.

5. Cut a long strand of red yarn to create the red lines on the mask. Add a wide V above the
center of the eyes and two slashes under the eyes.

6. Create dots on the mask with your sharpie pen. See below pictures to help you see where to
place yours.

7. The final step is sewing the machete to the right hand using a long piece of black yarn.

That’s it!! Your Jason is all ready to terrorize people this Friday the 13th!
