Performance and Enabling Objectives
Based on the procedural and pre-requisite analyses, the following objectives have been set to guide the learning in
the professional development workshop on
“Designing effective EFL vocabulary and grammar review activities using spaced repetition and interleaving
strategies.” Each objective has been classified based on Bloom’s Taxonomy of Educational Objectives which were
revised in 2001 by Anderson and Krathwohl (…., ….). The taxonomy is divided into six domains of cognitive
complexity with create being the highest. See fig:
Here are the terminal, performance, and enabling objectives for the 2-day professional development workshop at
ABC Commercial High School
Terminal Objective: By the end of the 2-day professional development workshop, participants will
design and implement effective review activities incorporating spaced repetition and interleaving
strategies for their English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students.
