I. INTRODUCTION
Antipolo Elementary School, with its mission of working hand in hand
with the Department of Education despite the health crisis. Print modular
distance learning were being sought to be the transparent solution for
learning continuity under new normal education. AES staff also eyed of
having education continues thru limited face-to-face learning with the
support of the parents and the members of the LGUs.
This school report presents the highlight of accomplishments which
includes the pupil development through various activities. It also focuses on
the improvement of teachers in classroom management. This report also
concerned on the curriculum development, physical and facilities
development and special programs and projects that the school
continuously implementing.
This report covers the accomplishment of the school for the month of
April, May and June 2022.

II HIGHLIGHT OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS
A. PUPIL DEVELOPMENT
Distribution and retrieval of modules
and additional/supplementary
worksheets.

Modules were retrieved and distributed every Monday. 100% of parents and
guardians play a part on the schedule given by advisers. Effective communication
between parents and teachers also ensure to monitor pupils' academic status.
Providing activities from the modules and additional exercises in line with the
Most Essential learning competencies help learners continuously learn.
They are being monitored by teachers through Facebook messenger. To
provide their learning needs. Parents as para-teachers constantly practice reading and
numeracy skills for their child to become successful academically.

Opening of limited Face-to-Face Classes

Thru the collaboration of teachers, LGU’s, parents and other stake holders,
Antipolo Elementary School finally opened the school for limited face to face classes
last April 18, 2022.

Implementation of Project AHON

Demonstration in teaching reading as part of our project AHON with the


Grade One Learners implemented by our dedicated and amazing school head,
Ma’am Jovie C. Palma. They enjoyed and definitely learned a lot. Optimizing
100% Antipolinian Total Reader is one of the objective of this project.

Batangueno (RBB) Implementation

In line with the DepEd’s Values Related Program, the RBB arises. With this,
parents/ guardians must take full responsibility with the child’s development of
different values in life that each and every one of us must possess.

Celebration of National Earth Day

In the celebration of National Earth day with the theme, Youth: Invest in our
planet. Antipolo Elementary School conducted poster and slogan making contest
last April 20, 2022. This was facilitated by the youth coordinator Ma’am Abegail
Bautista and Yes-O coordinator Sir Alfred P. Manongsong and spearheaded by the
school head Ma’am Jovie C. Palma.

Clean and Green Solid Waste


Management

Aspiring officers from Supreme Pupils Government (SPG) and YES-O have
a meeting about the clean and green and solid waste management in our school
conducted by the SPG coordinator Ma’am Abegail Bautista and Yes O coordinator
Sir Alfred P. Manongsong and spearheaded by the school head Ma’am Jovie C
Palma.

Conduct of Reading Intervention using
Functional Literacy Assessment Tool
(FLAT)

Antipolo ES aims to strengthens reading remediation program as the


Department of Education launches the Functional Literacy Assessment Tool also
known as FLAT in providing teachers the assessment tools in identifying the
reading status of the learners.

The FLAT aims to help teachers identify the learners’ literacy levels so they
will be able to provide effective remediation. The school head advices the teachers
that the results of the FLAT assessment will not affect the grades of the learners.

District Level Arts Contest

In the District Level Art Contest with the theme “Dakilang Lahi” held last May
02, 2022, Antipolo Elementary School participated. This was facilitated by our Arts
coordinator Ma’am Jingky P. Rayos and spearheaded by the school head Ma’am
Jovie C. Palma. We are so proud that our representative Ayesha Eirah A. Etac, a
Grade 4 student was the 3rd placer in the said contest.

National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill

Aside from the presence of COVID19 threat, there are still the presence of
natural hazards like earthquakes. To develop awareness and preparedness
among the learners and teaching personnel, Antipolo Es has been participating in
the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, ever since the DepEd started this
campaign. Duck, cover and hold, as the most effective strategy to do when
earthquake strikes the place, was being practiced. Moreover, discussion and
integration on lessons about these kinds of hazards or disaster were being
practiced by the teaching personnel. Since, mass gatherings are being
discouraged, evacuating the area is not being practiced but being explained by
the teacher about their way to the safest designated area after this kind of hazard

B. STAFF DEVELOPMENT
Rosario West District Technical
Assistance on SBM

Rosario West district principals and school heads participated on the


schoolbased management technical assistance last April 7, 2022, to enable schools
respond to their specific education needs by transferring significant decision making.
The technical assistance was given by the SGOD sir David Nuay.

Rosario west district conducted the District Monitoring, Evaluation and Plan
Adjustment presentation for SY 2021-2022 covering the first, second and third
quarter.

3- Day Training Workshop on Online
Safety for Children and Positive Discipline

The school head, ESP Teachers, Guidance Coordinator, and key teachers,
attended the 3-day training workshop on Online safety for Children and Positive
Discipline. This marked a very comprehensive and essential discussion given that kids
of today are very much inclined on the digital world. Offenders’ presence are even more
viral through the use of several social media accounts available on the internet today.
Teachers and parents must be keen observers when it comes to where and what
sites are being clicked by the learners. In line when the school’s advocacy on promoting
learners’ welfare and safety concludes even in the online world where they are very
susceptible to be victimized and offended.

Gender and Development Training

Antipolo Es goes to Baguio City, Philippines. Teachers, as the prime movers for
quality education, also need some refreshments and retreat to regain their holistic
strength to bounce back stronger and healthier combatting the challenges of education
set up of today. In line also with the Gender and Development Training for this school
year, Antipolo ES, under the supervision of the Head Teacher I, Mrs. Jovie C. Palma,
successfully went into a 2- day trip to the city of pines. As a result, relationship among
teaching staff and the management gets heathier and more harmonious which shall
entail positive results in achieving the school’s mission of providing quality instruction.

Re-Orientation on the conduct of


Limited Face-to-Face Classes

Antipolo Elementary School conducted re-orientation on April 8, 2022, for the


purpose of preparation on the opening of face-to-face classes. Concerns and
clarification was discussed by the school head.

School Maintenance and Other


Operating Expenses

The school Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses were properly


allocated and liquidated for the month of May. The funds was spent on the activities
and necessities that support learning programs and help safe and healthy environment
in schools.

Maintaning School Cleanliness

Support from the community help the school to achieve goals.


Maintaining cleanliness of the school surroundings is also the priority of
school with the collaboration of stakeholders and school staff.
Disinfection also performed to maintain the safety of school goers,
teachers and leaners.

D. PHYSICAL FACILITIES DEVELOPMENT

Installation of Solar Light

One of our sponsors who opted to hide his identity, for granting
us this Solar Light for our school was already installed by our ever
supportive SB in the person of our Education Committee Chairperson
Ronnel Manongsong Asi and his team.

D. SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
Gulayan sa Paaralan

The Department of Education through the Bureau of Learner Support


Services Health Division, strengthens the implementation of Gulayan sa Paaralan
(GPP). It aims to promote vegetable production in public schools, stablish and
maintain school gardens as source of feeding, produce school vegetable which
have reach sources of proteins, vitamins and minerals and inculcate among the
learners the values of gardening , good health and nutrition, love of labor and caring
for others. AES Parents, community and school collaborate for the success of this
program.

D. SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND PROJECTS
Project AHON

Assessing learners’ reading level is integral to effective reading instruction.


Hence, teacher must be acquainted with the performance levels of the learners in
reading literacy to help them develop and deliver appropriate reading lessons
addressing the needs of the learners.
Because our school head is dreaming of a holistically developed learners
which starts from competent and dedicated teachers. She conducted a workshop for
all teachers of Antipolo ES. The development of the Project AHON ( Achieving
Holistically Developed and Outstanding aNtipolonians Thru Reading) is geared
towards helping the teachers conduct effective and efficient literacy assessment,
specifically functional literacy.
