IDENTIFICATION
Physical Description/Properties
Appearance: White coloured, free flowing liquid with a slight odour
Swallowing
May cause gastric irritation.
Eye
A moderate eye irritation.
Skin
Repeated or prolonged skin contact may lead to irritation.
Inhalation
Not normally an inhalation risk due to low vapour pressure at ambient temperatures.
Swallowing
Wash mouth and lips with water DO NOT induce vomiting, give water to dilute stomach contents.
Seek medical attention.
Skin Contact
Wash with tepid soapy water. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before re-use. If irritation
persists seek medical advice.
Eye Contact
Irrigate with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Inhalation
Move to fresh air, allow patient to assume most comfortable position and keep warm. Recovery should be rapid
after removal from exposure. Seek medical attention if symptoms persist.
Advice to doctor
Treat symptomatically.

ENGINEERING CONTROLS
Use in an adequately ventilated area. General factory ventilation is normally sufficient to maintain
concentrations below exposure limits. In poorly ventilated or confined areas the use of a respirator may be
required.
PERSONAL PROTECTION
Skin
Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. The wearing of personal protective equipment is recommended such
as overalls or similar protective apparel, plastic or rubber gloves (AS2161). Always wash hands before smoking,
eating, drinking or using the toilet. Wash contaminated protective equipment before storing/re-use.
Eyes
Safety spectacles with side shields or safety goggles (AS/NlS1337) should be worn as appropriate.
Respiratory
Not normally an inhalation risk.
Flammability
Not flammable.

Wear appropriate protective equipment. Contain spillage using absorbent material (soil, sand, sawdust, vermiculite or other
inert material). Prevent any contamination of drains or waterways Scrape up and seal in properly labelled drums for disposal.
Remove residue from contaminated areas with specific clean up solution regulations when disposing of waste material.
