DIABETES
o Metformin 500 mg TID or in combination- insulin

COUGH
Mucolytic
• N-acetylcysteine 600/ sachet, 1 sachet mix
1⁄2 glass water, take once a day for 5 days
• Ambroxol 30 mg/tab, 1 tablet 3x day for 7
Paracetamol 250 mg/5, 10-15 mg/kg ( 12 mg/kg) days
-Weight of child 15 kilogram X 12 mg = 180 mg • Ambroxol 15 mg/5ml suspension, 5 ml 3 x

-180 x 5 = 900 /250 = 4 ml every 4 hours • Every 8 hrs

DIARRHEA

• If persistent: Sig: apply on affected 2 x a day for 7 days
2.Clotrimazole cream # 1 tube
➢ Stool forming drugs:
Sig: apply on affected 3 x a fay for 7days
Racecadotril ( Hydrasec) 100 mg/cap TID for adults
Racecadotril 30 mg/sachet /TID sachet for 2 years
and 13 year children Racecadotril 10 mg/sachet mix
SCABIES
in milk TID for infants
• For children and adult Permethrin lotion 5 %
➢ If 3 days, treat as Bacterial Gastroenteritis • Sulfur ointment- for babies
Bloody diarrhea- Ciprofloxacin 500 mg BID X 5
days after meal for 5 days 1.Permethrin lotion 5 % # 1 sachet
- Metronidazole 500 mg TID X 7 days Sig: apply the lotion from sole to neck for 30
minutes, then rinse and take regular bath once day
PNEUMONIA for 3 days.
1. Amox 2. Sulfur ointment # 1 tube
2. Cough Sig: Apply on affected area, 2 x a day for 1 week.
3. Sulfur soap # 1
3. Zinc sulfate 27.5 mg/ml, give 1 ml once a day for Sig: use for Bathing once daily
14 days Zinc sulfate 55 mg/5 ml, give 5ml once a
day for 14 days
PAIN MANAGEMENT LABORATORY REQUEST:
• Pain relief without Renal or Gastric ulcer:
Naproxin: 500 mg , 3 x a day as needed pain For Patients with Hypertension:
Ibuprofen: 200 mg, every 6 hours as needed pain • CBC, Lipid profile, FBS, Serum Creatinine, BUN
• Pain relief with Gastric ulcer, Renal? For Hypertensive Patients 40 years old and above or

For Patients with Symptoms of Diabetes ( Sudden

• Always do CBC • FBS, Lipid Profile, Serum Creatinine

• For Children: Phenylephrine +Chlorphenamine 5 • Upper Right Quadrant Pain

Circumcission
1. Amoxicillin 250 mg/5ml # 1 bottle
Sig: Give 5 ml 3 x a day for 7 days
