    0 Competition Details
    Dear Sir/Madam,
     
    Union Bank of India is one of the leading public sector banks of the country. We are glad to
    invite the students of your school to participate in National Level General
    Awareness Quiz Competition- U Genius 2.0 to be held on August 25th 2023 in Chennai.
    Venue of the quiz competition is Raja Annamalai Mandram, Chennai.
    We believe that these kinds of events will help beloved students to gain knowledge,
    become confident and thereby successful in life.
    To encourage students to study more diligently we are giving cash prizes, roll over
    trophies etc:
     
    SN Winners Prizes
    1. The Final Winner-Team Cash Prize* Rs 1,00,000/- (One Lakh Only) & Trophies and Certificate
    2. First Runner Up-Team Cash Prize* Rs 50,000/- (Fifty thousand Only) & Trophies and Certificate
    3. Second Runner Up-Team Cash Prize* Rs 25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand Only), Trophies, Certificate
    4. Semi Finalists Trophies and Certificates
    5. City Finalist Trophies and Certificate of Participation & Appreciation
    6. City Prelims Certificate of Participation & Appreciation
     *TDS at applicable rates will be deducted
    Rules and Guidelines for National Level General Awareness Quiz Competition- U Genius:
     
    1. Students from Class 8th to 12th are eligible to participate
    2. There is no registration fees.
    3. Each team shall comprise of two students from the same institution.
    4. From each institution minimum of Four teams can participate.
    5. Participants should bring their school photo identity card/bonafide certificate from school
    with photograph affixed.
    6. The Format of the U Genius 2.0 will be as follows
    City Round : City round will encompass - preliminary  round and an on-stage final.
     Preliminary round : Preliminary round containing 20 questions will be a paper/pen-
    based round.
     On - stage Final round : It will be conducted among Top 8 teams picked from
    preliminary round. Only one team from one institution will be selected for city final
    round.
    National round (Semi-Finals and Grand Finale) : The winners of city round final will
    go to National Semi-finals. Grand Finale would be held in Mumbai on 07th Nov 2023.
    7. Quiz Master’s decision is final and no discussion/correspondence will be entertained in
    this regard.
    8. The teams would be called for the quiz competition on the basis of Entry Form
    submitted by the Head of the Institution. If at any stage, it is found that there is
    misrepresentation on any of the facts/information, the candidature of the teams is liable
    to be cancelled.
    9. The Quiz mainly focuses on General Knowledge, Knowledge about India, World Culture,
    Sports, Literature, Famous personalities, well known aspects of History & Geography,
    Food, Clothing, etc. apart from these there will be an exclusive round on Banking and
    Finance.
    10. Students should make their own arrangements for travel.
