What is Math 104?
◻ Math 104 is a review of high school mathematics. The goal of
the course is to review the following topics and enforce your
background in these topics before taking advanced level
mathematics courses in your major.

instructor you meet in the classroom.

grades, and he is responsible for the course
updates in Blackboard platform.
ONLINE PLATFORM FOR THE COURSE:
BLACKBOARD

1. All course related documents including this power point


file, (course syllabus, worksheets, soft copy of the
textbook, online assignments, old exams and etc. )
videos will be uploaded to the blackboard account. It is
imperative that you have access to the blackboard
platform.
2. You will receive announcements from your instructors
via blackboard in addition to in-person announcements.
You should download blackboard application to your
phone.
3. You should check your blackboard account everyday.
You can follow your class and its announcement from
your blackboard account.

two days (3 and 2 hours)

MCQs and Essay Questions (50 Min).

◻ Assignments are made before each quiz and Midterm as a


preparation for these assessments. (The number of Questions in
each assignment will depend on the content of the assessment)
Online Homework Assignments:

 The online assignments will be done on


blackboard (BB) interface.
 Around 4 assignments will be assigned during
this semester.
 The total grades (12 marks) is obtained by
adding the grades of all the assignments
without rounding.
Attendance Policy
➢ Students with valid excuses are considered present.
➢ You cannot makeup a missed class by attending
another class.
➢ Regular students must attend at least 85% of all
lectures .
➢ If absent, excuse should be reported to the vice dean
➢ Being late is equivalent to ½ absent
➢ Being late ½ hour and more is considered 1 absent
Class Etiquette
➢ Do not arrive late.
➢ No cell phones, SHUT them OFF

➢ Do not make noise during the classes.
