    Structure of Innovation
    Challenge:
    1. Online event (1-day):
    Online orientation to the overall theme and the need for innovation in the proposed
    area.
    I. Participants need to submit their ideas and proposals within a month of the 1-
    day online event.

    2. Offline event (3-day):


    I. Conducted 1-month after the online event at premises of partner Knowledge
    institution
    II. Monetary support for boarding and lodging of participants is provided by the
    program budget
    III. Presentations by participants
    IV. Interaction with Jury

    Participant profile of
    Innovation Challenge:
    • Anyone with an innovative idea between the age of 18-40 years

    • Research scholars from partner institutions and representatives from NGO should
    not exceed 20% respectively of the total participant strength in the program.

    Major expectations from
    NGO (Section 8 company):
    • Provide technical and logistical support (e.g: access
    to GIS software, manpower etc.)

    • Provide networking, advertisement and marketing

    • Publicize the innovation challenge through the


    Barak valley region and Northeast India and
    further through various channels
