APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Prepare the following for uploading:

• Copy of the Transcript of Records from the last School you
attended;
• Application essays (see essay questions on page 3 of this packet);
• Two references: Print out pages 4 – 6 of this packet, and send to
your chosen referees. When they return the accomplished
reference, please upload as part of your application in the ASoG
Applications Website.
• ID Photo (2 x 2 with white background);
• Scanned copy or clear photo of your DTTB ID as proof of payment
o Rename your file using this format:
LastNameFNMN_DTTBID (e.g.: DelaCruzJM_DTTBID)
2. Create an account in the Ateneo School of Government Applications

APPLICATION ESSAY QUESTIONS
INSTRUCTIONS: Please answer the following questions in

approximately 500 words for EACH question. Place your answers in a
separate PDF file, to be uploaded in the online application form.
1. What are your motivations for applying for the Master in Public
Management Program of the Ateneo School of Government (ASoG)?
2. If accepted into the program, what specialized knowledge, skills, and

experience will you bring to the program and to the ASoG?
3. Identify one major concern or challenge in facing government

bureaucracy. In your opinion, how should this concern or problem be
effectively addressed?
4. The MPM program culminates in a Governance Innovation Report, a

research paper that students are required to write to demonstrate
their learnings and growth over the course of the program. Identify
three (3) possible topics that you want to discuss in your final paper
and explain briefly the significance of each.
