My name is Jennie. How old are you ?
I am 13 years old. Where are you from ?
I’m 13 too. I am from London, in England,
what about you ?
I’m from Paris, in France.
That’s cool ! What are your hobbies ?
Swimming, watching TV and spending
time with my friends, what are yours ?
Listening to music, singing and watching
TikTok.
Okay. What is your dream job ?
I’m not sure yet. Maybe singer, lawyer or
flight attendant. And you ?
I want to be a Pastry Chef. What’s your
favorite color ? Mine is Dark Blue.
It’s Black and Pink ! Do you play sports ?
Yes, i do climbing and swimming. And you ?
No but i used to swim too.
Okay. What is your daily routine ?
I get up at 7:40 AM, take a shower, brush
my teeth and dress up. Then, i make my
bed and I take my breakfast in the canteen
from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM.
I start class from 8:55 AM to 11:30 AM. At
12:05 PM, i eat lunch at the canteen. Then,
i go back to class from 1:20 PM to 4:45
PM. Of course, we get breaks between
lessons. From 5:00 PM to 6:45 PM, I do my
homework in the library. When you finish
your homework, you can go in your dorm
to play, read or listen to music. From 7:30
PM to 8:45 PM, i eat dinner in the canteen.
At 9:00 PM, you must stay in your dorm
and at 9:50 PM, you must sleep. What is
yours ?
I get up At 6:45 AM I get up shower and
dress up then at 7:00 AM i am having
breakfast. At 7:20 AM I take the bus to go to
school. I’ll arrive at 8 AM. And start school at
8:30 AM.
From 8:30 AM to 10:20 AM I have class ends
from 10:20 AM to 10:35 AM, I have a break
1:45 PM to 2:40 PM I still have class and
from 2:40 PM to 2:55 PM, I have a break.
School ends at 4:45 PM. After school I take
the bus to get home then I do my homework
and i spend time with my grandparents.
At 7:30 PM I eat dinner with my family and
when I finish, I brush my teeth and put on
pajamas, and put the right books in my
bag .I’m ready to sleep.
Okay. Let’s compare our schools ! Here, we
wear uniform.
In France, we don’t have uniforms, but french
teenagers listen to music and have their own
pocket money.
English teens too ! We also play different
sports, for example : cricket, football or
netball.
French teens also play sports at school like
basketball, handball or gymnastic. But we
learn many languages like English Spanish or
German.
We learn languages too. But unlike , 50% of
teens in England don’t have a real
breakfast, they eat fast food in front of TV
every week and eat snacks for breakfast.
In France, us teenagers spend a lot of time
on our phones.
In England too.
