    MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT

    KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:


    This Memorandum of Agreement was executed by and between:
    The SINISIAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, a public elementary school institution,
    with the office address at Sinisian, Calaca City, Batangas represented herein by its
    School Head, DAY L. ABITAN, hereinafter referred to as “DONEE”.
    -and-
    The PARENTS AND TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION of Sinisian Elementary School, an
    association with the address at Sinisian, Calaca City, Batangas, represented herein
    by its President, CHERRY O. ARNEZ, herein referred to as “ STAKEHOLDERS ”.

    WITNESSETH: That,
    WHEREAS, with the 2023 Brigada Eskwela, Amending Thereby DepEd Order No.
    21, s. 2023 titled 2023 Brigada Eskwela Implementing Guidelines, the DONEE
    acknowledges the need for partners for the school’s maintenance program to
    ensure that Sinisian Elementary School is set in time for class opening;

    WHEREAS, the STAKEHOLDERS will voluntarily provide their time and skills for
    the conduct of clean-ups, minor to medium repairs, and maintenance works in
    classrooms and within the school site;

    WHEREAS they will keep themselves engaged in the program based on the
    suggested schedule given;

    NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the above premises and mutual
    covenants, agreements and stipulations hereinafter set forth, the parties hereby
    agree jointly to perform their roles and responsibilities as stated herein;
    I. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES
    1. The DONEE shall:

    1.1 Organize the efforts of stakeholders,
    1.1. Establish various committees which will be responsible
    for the different concerns in implementing Brigada
    Eskwela,
    1.2. Orient the members on their roles and tasks,
    1.3. Oversees that the processes involved in the
    implementation are being followed,
    1.4. Supervises/monitors/evaluates the conduct of Brigada
    Eskwela,
    1.5. Submits needed reports,
    1.6. Gives due recognition to teachers’ and stakeholders’
    efforts.

    2. The STAKEHOLDERS shall:


    2.1 Coordinate with the DONEE on the specification of the
    facilities, equipment, materials, and other resources
    that are available as well as the needs of the school,
    2.2 Coordinate with the DONEE the voluntary donations,
    skills, or time they will render to the school,
    2.3 Gives full care of the resources of the school and its
    vicinity,
    2.4 Accomplish the required forms such as Daily
    Attendance, Deed of Donation, and Deed of
    Acceptance.

    II. EFFECTIVITY OF THE AGREEMENT


    This agreement shall take effect from August 14-19, 2023.

    IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereunto have affixed their


    respective signatures this 14th day of August 2023, at Sinisian
    Elementary School, Sinisian, Calaca City, Batangas, Philippines.
