Opportunity and Strategies

Vision And Mission Statement

Vision Statement

To become the most notable seller in Zambales for producing delicious and once
in a lifetime healthy snack sweet potato pops.

Mission Statement

We want to fulfill the objective of satisfying customers with authentic healthy

snack product comes with eco-freindly materials. We want to reduce pollution by
using paper containers and cups.
Target Market and Projections

Our target market is mostly college students ranging in age between 10-23 and the
staff whose age ranges from 28-70. All of these people can become our customers,
because everyone can get stressed out during lectures. The average person has
three basic meals during the day: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Normally, most
people have dessert after lunch and dinner. The students that would purchase our
product do not have an option of going home for meals, so a “home” cooked meal
would allow students to feel like they were at home. At our university we have
baked cookies in the cafeteria, but homemade baked-goods would easily be more
popular than the canteen's snack.
Competetive Advantage

Reputation: We will always keep in touch with the customer to collect all the

MARKET RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS

Our objective in selling P-POPS is to encourage consumers to eat more healthy

and choose eco-friendly products. Why are P-POPS are better than other snacks?
Firstly, sweet potato comes from a natural source. So it is naturally grows and
easy to collect for us to cook. We do not need to eat unhealhty snacks no more if
we can be creative in making such snack.Additionally, Chichiryas are not health
friendly compared to P-POP. Moreover, this snacks can cause you UTI if you eat
plenty of it. P-POP is much healthier, less chemicals, and satisfying to eat. Our
marketing strategy will focus mainly on healthy food and are much more trendy to
youngsters because we have an engraving service to attract them.

Market Trend
The demand for healthy foods has risen due to growing environmental attention.
According to a Deloitte Insights, even with the inflation 84%1 of consumers still
consider health and wellness when purchasing fresh food. Moreover, 55%1 of
consumers say they are willing to pay a premium for the right healthy foods
because they contribute to their health and wellness. In some Country, the
number of product launches considered healthy increased by 149%2.

This trend is expected to continue to grow in the next years. Indeed, as people
considered healthy food important for them.

goods or services. It is necessary as it determines our profit and business survival.
Two factors affect our pricing strategy to increase our profits. The internal factor
that affects our pricing strategy is production and management cost. At the same
time, the external factor is the competitive environment.

about the products. It is a communication process that influences the customer to
buy products. In order to get customers’ attention and obtain a more significant
market share and uses digital and internet marketing.

decides the mode of distribution for the product. The pacing strategy plays an
important role in selling the products. We have chosen the MMCZI. Our main
target market is staff and students.

Difficulties and Risks
Ineffective Marketing
Marketing efforts are crucial for all new businesses. If you’re just beginning in
selling food products forced to face countless competitors, it’s common to feel
lost, especially when you didn’t make advertising your top priority. You have
more reasons to invest in effective marketing campaigns than other industry
players if you’re new to the food business.

Insufficient or Limited Cash Flow

One of the most common mistakes of new food product seller is underestimating
the time they need for their business to become profitable. The start-up cost for
the company could be massive, and failing to bump up the capital to a sufficient
level is nothing short of a disaster.

Be Smart in Addressing Food Business Risks

Risks will be a part of running a business. However, this doesn’t mean that owners
like you are powerless and incapable of protecting themselves. Before jumping in
and putting all hands on deck, it’s best to research the industry and demands of the
business.
